If you want your work to count and the room to become your best, you'll find it here.\nWarehouse Operative\nMain Purpose:\nCoordinate all the warehouses activities regarding Loading ,Picking, Checking and stacking of seeds/crop protection in warehouse.\nDevelop specific working ethics to maximize output and ensure good quality product delivery\nMaintain distribution, warehouse and SAP integrity.\nEnsure strict internal control & compliance at all the warehouses.\nCollaborate with W&D team members to better deliver on our key KPIs and goals.\nContinue to build safety and quality culture.\nKey Tasks and Responsibilities:\nTo store and control all raw and treated seed in the warehouse\nAssist with Inventory management-seed storage and stacking\nAble to drive a forklift and perform loading and offloading activities.\nWork with casual workers on all warehouse operations.\nEnsure good house keeping in the warehouse.\nSupport warehouse workers on Quality Management Systems(ISO9001) and safety OSHAS18001 procedures.\nSupport and coordinate with service providers contractors at the site.\nEnsuring the security of the inventory and making sure its free from any pests and spillages\nSupport fumigation of the seed and pest control in the warehouses.\nOrganize loading and off loading of seed from Processing Plant and imports.\nSupport seed destruction processes on all written off seed as approved.\nCarryout safety activities in the warehouse per OSHAS18001 procedures.\nAdhere to forklift safety procedures\nSupport in inventory control through weekly and monthly county, Updating of stock cards real time \nReport any non-conformities in the Warehouse.\nWork closely with warehouse Co-ordinator.\nValue Add and Success Criterion / Contribution:\nInventory control\nOntime loading to customers\nSafety checks\nMachine safety\nKey Working Relations:\nInternal:\nProduction and Site Managers\nESH and Quality Assurance\nFinance and controlling\nOther Supply chain Management functions\nExternal:\nTransport service providers\nQualifications and Competencies:\nForklift driving certification \nWarehouse management knowledge\nBasic human resources skills.\nComputer literacy.\nDriver license.\nHigh school certificate, collage certificate is an added advantage\nStorage and inventory management\nHSE knowledge / exposure\nHousekeeping, pest control, quality and compliance knowledge\nFluency in English\nKey Competencies:\nBe accountable\nBe lean and fast\nCreate value with the customer in mind\nAs part of our commitment to inclusion, we want to ensure persons with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodations.
