The engineer will be a trusted technical leader of development, will function within a team and work in cross-functional groups with the ability to thrive in a scaled agile environment.\nEssential Functions & Duties: Full stack developer: JavaScript, Java, Postgres, NodeJS, Python\nDevelops and supports complex Tomcat-based Servlets as Plugins to Atlassian products\nDevelops and supports complex browser single-page applications using modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular\nBuilds applications with Maven and Webpack\nBuilds, queries, and manages both RDBs and NoSQL databases\nDevelops and supports complex Atlassian Jira/Confluence/Crowd Plugins\nExpert using modern APIs, especially REST APIs\nImplements Web accessibility knowledge WCAG 2.0/Section 508\nDesigns and implements Cloud-based resources and technologies in both AWS and Azure\nImplements infrastructure-as-code through both Terraform and ARM\nUses Git to manage working code \nUses Jira and Confluence to communicate status and progress with other project team members\nOwns the as-built catalog of how the system is built, and what behavior it is responsible for\nContributes to the vision and roadmap regarding the design and consistent improvement of all portfolio applications and systems\nAbility and desire to interact daily with coworkers and leadership in a virtual setting\nExhibits excellent problem solving and data analysis skills\nWorks independently and collaboratively \nWork at the highest technical level in all phases of application development, systems analysis, and data manipulation \nExhibits exceptional communication skills\nAbility to manage multiple tasks with varying priorities\nAdheres to SCRUM/Agile development\n Skills, Qualifications and Certifications of Best Candidates: The ideal candidate will be accustomed to working in a very fast paced team environment.
