The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in software development to develop customized Test Fixture software applications for automated testing of modules and sub-assemblies (Example: DAQ controllers, motion controls, heaters, and electromechanical, pneumatic & fluid devices) used in semiconductor manufacturing equipment.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, debug, and deploy software for functionality testing automated test equipment.\nIdentify requirements and propose creative and appropriate solutions to bolster test automation.\nClosely work with Project engineers, Project managers and stakeholders for timely completion of projects.\nMaintain the software for source and version control and future upgrades.\nManage and architect database systems for robust data logging, analysis, and reporting.\nAssist in integrations, ensuring interoperability between various hardware and software components.\nConduct regular systems evaluations to ensure compliance with CTE safety and quality standards.\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive project completion and meet strategic objectives.\nProvide technical support to operational teams, accepting knowledge transfer and sharing BKMs.\nInnovate and upskill in the latest developments in test automation, advocating for their adoption, as needed.\n\nMandatory Skills:\nProgramming:\nPython application development\nPython based data acquisition scripting and GUI development using PyQt / PySide\nBackend development using Django framework\nJavaScript for frontend development\nReact for component-based user interface development\nNext.js for full stack development (SSR, routing, API endpoints)\nSource code and version control (Bitbucket / Git)\n\nCommunication Protocols:\nSerial (RS-232,422,485), Device Net, EtherCAT, Modbus, Digital IO, Analog IO, TCP/IP Socket, VISA, SPI, FTDI.\n\nHardware Skills:\nATE, Data Acquisition using NI CDAQ and Beckhoff IOs, Electrical fundamentals (motion control)\nKnowledge of working with sensors (thermal, vibration, motion, pressure, etc.)\nKnowledge of working with optical light sources (LEDs, lasers, optical sensors)\n\nQualifications:\nEducation: B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering\nExperience: 4 -
