As a Commercial Procurement Manager for Marketing, you’ll partner with stakeholders across the Customer Operating Group, from teams such as Marketing and Audiences, Media, the Licence Fee team plus our in house Creative team to influence sourcing strategies, drive commercial value, and ensure compliance with public procurement regulations. impact-driven environment.\nYOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT\nPartner with marketing stakeholders to understand marketing objectives and align procurement strategies with business goals.\nDevelop and deliver sourcing plans for media, creative, comms, digital, partnerships and sponsorship categories, ensuring value and compliance.\nPrepare strategic presentations and reports that provide spend insights and recommendations to secure stakeholder buy-in.\nManage supplier relationships with agencies and partners, ensuring performance, innovation, and adherence to BBC standards.\nLead procurement projects end-to-end, from initiation to completion, delivering on time, within scope, and budget.\nYOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE\nESSENTIAL CRITERIA\nStrong knowledge of procurement processes in a publicly regulated environment, ideally within marketing categories.\nExperience managing agency and supplier contracts, with a track record of driving commercial outcomes.\nAnalytical skills to interpret spend data and market trends, providing actionable insights for marketing investment.\nProject management expertise to deliver complex procurement projects across multiple stakeholders.\nExcellent interpersonal skills to build trusted relationships with marketing teams and external partners.\nDESIRED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL\nProfessional procurement certification (e.g., CIPS, CPSM).\nExperience in media buying, creative services, or digital marketing procurement.\nKnowledge of emerging marketing technologies and trends.\nBackground in cost optimisation across marketing categories.\nMentoring or leadership experience in procurement
