BB&E team members provide Environmental Consulting, Facilities Engineering and Program/Project Management Services to Federal and private sectors.\nPosition Summary\nBB&E is currently looking for a Contracts Administrator to support the Spaceport of the Future program onsite at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station (CCSFS) at Kennedy Space Center, and Patrick SFB, but work may include some annex locations located within the State of Florida.\nJob Duties & Responsibilities\nAssist with planning of the overall approach to meet contracting program objectives for a variety of requirements with multiple complexities\nAnalyze difficult contracting issues; recommend courses of action for long-term contract performance or short-term contracts with extremely stringent timeframes\nProvide advice and assistance during the development of the performance work statement/statement of work or data requirements\nAssist the government during the acquisition planning phase to develop market research, acquisition strategy, milestones, evaluation/source selection criteria, and/or incentive or award fee provisions, as applicable\nAssist with the procurement of complex and/or diversified services, commodities, and/or construction\nReview proposals and make recommendations on the acceptability of offers based on an analysis of financial and technical information gained\nAssist with the execution of post-award contract management actions\nAnalyze and provide recommendations on a variety of unusual conditions, questions, or issues including complex contract administration problems and identify alternative courses of action\nAssist the government with preparing contract modifications including those caused by changes in technical requirements, in quantities, ordering unpriced options, and similar issues\nRequirements\nKey Qualifications\nU.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain/maintain a NACI/CAC isrequired\nAbility to successfully pass a federal agency background check is required\nRequires professional knowledge of a wide range of federal contracting laws, regulations, policies, procedures, methods, techniques, and contract types applicable to pre-award and post-award actions for a variety of complex contracts for unique services, commodities, and/or construction\nRequires knowledge of the business environment (e.g. economic trends, awareness of commercial/business practices, standards, mergers, and acquisitions, etc.) to recognize potential programmatic/contractual impacts, and knowledge of the methods and techniques of fact-finding/market research\nRequires knowledge of the principles, methods, and tools used to assist in risk identification, assessment, and mitigation including assessing the probability and consequences of potential problems\nExperience with ConWrite, MOCAS, and/or CONIT is required\nStrong written and oral communication skills and proficiency with MS Office applications (Word and Excel) are required\nRequires knowledge of Federal contracting principles, laws, and statues applicable to pre-award and post-award actions, contract negotiation, administration, policies and procedure, price and cost analysis sufficient to review cost proposals, confer with technical evaluators and determine a negotiation position\nStrong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.\nSoftware: Proficiency using MS Office software including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint isrequired.\nSelf-Starter: Highly motivated, with the ability to solve problems and function as a member of a team\nExperience & Education\nExperience: A minimum of 4 years of related experience with DoD or other related government agency.\nEducation: A minimum of a High School Diploma\nBenefits\nCompensation, Benefits & Perks\no Competitive compensation packages\no Participation in the Employee Stock Ownership Plan - BB&E is 100% employee-owned!\no Discretionary bonus\no *Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance with health care concierge\no *Employer provided Short-Term & Long-Term disability\no *Employer provided Life insurance\no *Employee options for supplemental life, supplemental accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity, and Identity theft protection benefits\no *Generous PTO plus 11 paid holidays\no Traditional & Roth 401(k) options with fully vested employer match\no Tuition reimbursement & professional development\no Employee referral program\no Employee discounts\no Employee Assistance Program (EAP)\no Pet insurance discount\n*Applies only to full-time employees\nBB&E is an equal-opportunity employer.
