BB&E team members provide Environmental Consulting, Facilities Engineering and Program/Project Management Services to Federal and private sectors.
Position Summary
BB&E is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Real Property Specialist to join our team providing technical support to the 341st Civil Engineer Squadron (341 CES) on-site at Malmstrom, AFB, Montana.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage and process real estate in-grant and out-grant actions while ensuring full compliance with Air Force and federal real estate requirements
- Perform real estate functions for government-owned property, including accurate documentation, record maintenance, and effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders
- Execute disposal actions for excess land or facilities IAW applicable laws, regulations, and Air Force policy.
- Conduct data analysis and preparing detailed reports, including space utilization surveys and other assessments that support installation planning and mission needs
- Assist in preparing and submitting construction capitalization documents to ensure accurate and timely updates to real property records
- Conduct inventories, inspections, and validations of real property assets to ensure accuracy, accountability, and audit readiness
Requirements
Key Qualifications
· U.S. Citizenship and a DoD SECRET Clearance is required.
- Knowledge:
- Working knowledge of DoD Real Estate, Real Property, and facility engineering concepts and Army or DoD space use standards and programs as well as standard DoD Real Estate reports.
- Software: MS Office software including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Self-Starter: Highly motivated, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines autonomously.
Experience & Education
- Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of experience.
- Education: Minimum of high-school diploma required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand/walk/climb/kneel/crouch and remain in a stationary position/sit at least 60% of the time
- Ability to operate office equipment, including computer, copy machine, phone, etc.
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms.
- Capable of lifting up to 10 lbs.
- Ability to see details of objects that are less than a few feet away.
- Ability to understand the speech of another person, speak clearly so listeners can understand, and talk or hear both in person and by telephone.
