Responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and improving quotes received, evaluating, and negotiating coverage and price for renewals and prospective business.\nHow You Will Contribute:\nCoordinate the procurement of alternative quotes and carrier options to retain existing insurance programs. \nAnalyze market information to develop, design, and implement creative strategies for sales team members. \nReview and recognize areas for improvement in existing policies and competing quotes and evaluate options alongside the sales team member and service representative. \nNegotiate with insurance carriers’ competitive coverage and pricing options on behalf of our client. \nProvide sales and customer service teammates with any market information or insight. \nMonitor, identify, and develop new methods, new markets, and new opportunities. \nReview submissions from either the producer or account manager for completeness and accuracy. \nReview submissions to determine appropriate insurance companies for account solicitation. \nIdentify new markets through research and begin the process to contract with insurance companies or brokers if necessary and given approval from management. \nUtilize and direct assistants in the process of online rating and proposal creation. \nSkills & Experience to be Successful:\nRequired:\nMinimum education - college degree or related work experience \nProficient with MS Office & Excel \nExceptional telephone demeanor \nAbility to maintain a high level of confidentiality \n3-5 years of experience in a similar position \nMust have and maintain a current P&C License for the required states. \nMust-have coverage experience:Commercial General Liability\nCommercial Property\nCommercial Auto\nUmbrella / Excess Liability\nWorkers Compensation\n\nPreferred:\nIndependent insurance agency experience \nProperty and Casualty Insurance Designation, such as CISR, CRIS, AAI, or similar designation \n Preferred coverage experience:Cyber Liability\nManagement Liability (D&O, EPLI, Fiduciary, Crime)\nProfessional Liability / E&O\nInland Marine\nCrime\nEquipment Breakdown\n\nTeammate Benefits & Total Well-Being\nWe go beyond standard benefits, focusing on the total well-being of our teammates, including:\nHealth Benefits: Medical/Rx, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance \nFinancial Benefits: ESPP; 401k; Student Loan Assistance; Tuition Reimbursement \nMental Health & Wellness: Free Mental Health & Enhanced Advocacy Services\nBeyond Benefits: Paid Time Off, Holidays, Preferred Partner Discounts and more. \nNot reflective of all benefits.
