This role oversees the ongoing operation and maintenance of the IBM iSeries platform while leading projects from definition through implementation, ensuring resources are managed efficiently and deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.\nYour Impact:\nDesign application solutions to existing applications, software and operating systems; maintain a current working knowledge of system enhancements.\n\nCollaborate with network staff to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes.\n\nWork at the highest level of all technical phases of programming; requires a high degree of creative thinking and the ability to use the accumulated knowledge and experience of others.\n\nGauge the effectiveness and efficiency of existing IBM iSeries systems; develop and implement strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems in terms of business processes.\n\nDesign and develop procedures, both manual and automated, to solve business opportunities.\n\nSuccessful Candidates Will Have:\nB.S. in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.\n\n5+ years of programming experience in iSeries.\n\nStrong proficiency in RPG ILE, RPG, CL, Query, DBU, SQL and DDS.\n\nExcellent communications skills, teamwork, and independent motivation.\n\nProven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.\n\nWebSmart development tool is a plus.\n\nOne80 Intermediaries is part of Arrowhead Intermediaries, a global insurance distribution platform that offers deep specialization, scale, and innovation across wholesale brokerage, program administration, and specialty insurance.
