IS HIRING!\nJob Title: Audio Visual Specialist\n\nJob Purpose: The Audio-Visual Specialist will be responsible for executing audio productions, managing audio engineering tasks, and supporting the team in operating and maintaining audio/visual equipment.\nThis position will involve leading volunteers and collaborating with a team to ensure the seamless operation of both small and large-scale events.\nDepending on experience, the role may include additional leadership responsibilities such as managing audio engineering teams and overseeing more complex audio setups and live productions.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nLead or support audio engineering and mixing for Front of House (FOH) and livestreaming events.\nOperate and maintain audio/visual hardware and peripherals, including patching, system calibration, and troubleshooting technical issues.\nManage audio software for recording, mixing, and editing across different platforms.\nWork on audio productions for conferences, seminars, concerts, musicals, and other live events.\nLead and support the setup and operation of audio systems for various events.\nManage inventory of AV equipment and ensure proper maintenance and scheduling.\nProvide leadership, coaching, and training to volunteer audio crews or junior audio engineers.\nTroubleshoot workflow and technical issues, ensuring smooth audio operations during events.\nCommunicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure all AV requirements are met.\nAssist in budget planning, resource allocation, and team scheduling as needed.\nMaintain effective documentation for inventory management, technical setup, and event planning.\nUtilize Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) for scheduling, reporting, and general communication.\nRequirements:\nDiploma or Degree in Sound, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field (relevant professional certifications such as Dante are a plus).\nProficiency in live sound mixing and systems patching.\nExperience with recording, mixing, and editing for both live sound and broadcast.\nStrong knowledge of audio hardware, software, and AV peripherals.\nFamiliarity with schematic diagrams and troubleshooting audio-related technical faults.\nAt least 2 years of experience in audio/visual production (higher-level candidates should have 5+ years).\nExperience with audio engineering in both small-scale and large-scale productions.\nAbility to work independently as well as part of a team, with strong leadership potential for more experienced candidates.\nStrong communication skills, with a customer-service-oriented attitude.\nHigh level of dependability, accountability, and attention to detail.\nChristian is
