We are more than 121,000 professionals working in multidisciplinary teams with profiles as diverse as financiers, legal experts, data scientists, developers, engineers and designers.\nAbout the job:\nPosition Summary\nThe General Services Associate supports daily facility operations, physical security, mail and package distribution, asset management, office services, and facility projects. This position works closely with employees, building management, vendors, and contractors to maintain a safe, secure, and efficient workplace.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nManage building access, including employee access cards, visitor badges, terminations, key control, door security, alarms, and quarterly access audits.\nMonitor security surveillance and support building emergency procedures, fire drills, and evacuations.\nCoordinate visitor and vendor access and ensure compliance with building security requirements.\nReceive, sort, distribute, and track USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL, certified mail, and other packages while maintaining accurate incoming and outgoing shipment records.\nTag, track, and inventory furniture, equipment, and other fixed assets; maintain records in the Fixed Assets System and investigate inventory discrepancies.\nCoordinate equipment deliveries, internal moves, departmental relocations, and asset changes.\nCoordinate facility maintenance and repairs with building management, vendors, and contractors; monitor maintenance agreements and vendor performance.\nMaintain office and lunchroom supplies and provide general office and reception support.\nAssist with facility projects, including office reconfigurations, relocations, and space optimization.\nMaintain accurate records, spreadsheets, logs, and documentation using Microsoft Office, Google Docs, email, and other systems.\nPerform physical duties, including lifting and moving items weighing up to 50 pounds.\nQualifications\nBachelor's Degree required.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, email, Google Docs, and general internet tools.\nWorking knowledge of physical security, access control, mailroom, and facility operations.\nStrong customer service, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\nDependable team player who follows procedures, works efficiently, and maintains attention to detail.\nAbility to work with employees, vendors, contractors, and building management in a professional manner.\nAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.\nWith respect to this position in our New York Office, the expected base salary ranges from $100,000 to $110,000.
