This individual will serve as a senior technical resource responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and modernizing the Bank's infrastructure while ensuring the availability, security, and performance of mission-critical systems.\nThe ideal candidate is an experienced infrastructure engineer who can contribute immediately with minimal ramp-up and provide technical leadership and mentoring to other engineers. This is not a traditional network administration role; the primary focus is enterprise infrastructure, virtualization, storage, and backup technologies.\nKey Responsibilities\nAdminister, maintain, and optimize VMware vSphere environments, including ESXi hosts, vCenter, clusters, and enterprise virtualization services.\nManage and support NetApp storage environments, including provisioning, snapshots, replication, capacity planning, and performance optimization.\nAdminister Veeam Backup & Replication, ensuring successful backups, disaster recovery readiness, and regular recovery validation.\nManage Windows Server infrastructure, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, file services, and related core technologies.\nSupport enterprise server platforms including Dell, HPE, and Cisco UCS.\nMonitor and troubleshoot virtualization, storage, server, operating system, and infrastructure performance issues.\nPerform infrastructure upgrades, patching, firmware updates, hardware refreshes, and lifecycle management.\nSupport disaster recovery, business continuity, and infrastructure resiliency initiatives.\nDevelop and maintain infrastructure documentation, operational procedures, standards, and diagrams.\nCollaborate with networking, cybersecurity, application support, vendors, and business stakeholders to resolve complex production issues.\nParticipate in infrastructure modernization projects involving virtualization, storage, backup, automation, and cloud technologies.\nProvide technical leadership and mentoring to junior and mid-level engineers.\nParticipate in an on-call rotation and act as a senior escalation point for critical production incidents.\nRequired Qualifications\n7+ years of hands-on enterprise infrastructure engineering experience.\nStrong experience administering VMware vSphere environments, including ESXi and vCenter.\nHands-on experience supporting NetApp storage platforms.\nExperience administering Veeam Backup & Replication in enterprise environments.\nStrong Windows Server administration skills, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and PowerShell.\nExperience supporting enterprise server hardware (Dell, HPE, Cisco UCS, or equivalent).\nExperience with SAN/NAS technologies and enterprise data center operations.\nExperience supporting highly available production environments.\nStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills across virtualization, storage, backup, and Windows infrastructure.\nExcellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nVMware Certified Professional (VCP)\nNetApp Certified Data Administrator (NCDA) or equivalent\nVeeam Certified Engineer (VMCE)\nMicrosoft Windows Server or Azure certifications\nExperience with Microsoft Azure and/or AWS\nExperience with PowerShell, PowerCLI, or other infrastructure automation tools\nFinancial services or other regulated industry experience\nTechnical Skills\nVirtualization\nVMware vSphere\nESXi\nvCenter\nHigh Availability (HA)\nDRS\nvMotion\nVMware Lifecycle Manager\nStorage\nNetApp ONTAP\nSAN/NAS administration\nSnapshots\nReplication\nCapacity planning\nPerformance tuning\nBackup & Disaster Recovery\nVeeam Backup & Replication\nBackup administration\nDisaster recovery\nRecovery testing\nBusiness continuity\nMicrosoft Infrastructure\nWindows Server\nActive Directory\nDNS\nDHCP\nGroup Policy\nPowerShell\nEnterprise Infrastructure\nDell, HPE, or Cisco UCS servers\nData center operations\nInfrastructure monitoring\nPerformance tuning\nPatch management\nSecurity hardening\nChange management\nDesired Candidate Profile\nThe ideal candidate is a senior infrastructure engineer with a proven track record of designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise virtualization, storage, backup, and Windows environments.
