We are more than 121,000 professionals working in multidisciplinary teams with profiles as diverse as financiers, legal experts, data scientists, developers, engineers and designers.\nCorporate & Investment Banking Finance Area\nAbout the job:\nGeneral Ledger and Accounts Payable Accountant, also supporting management control and cost monitoring activities.\nThe position is intended for a junior professional with approximately 2 years of experience in accounting and administration, able to work independently on recurring activities and eager to grow in a dynamic and international environment.\nMain Responsibilities\nSupplier onboarding and approval.\n\nReview of contractual documentation and the accounts payable cycle.\n\nRecording, checking and payment of invoices.\n\nAccount reconciliations and review of outstanding items.\n\nProcessing of travel expenses.\n\nSupport for periodic and year-end closings.\n\nMonitoring of actual costs versus budget and variance analysis.\n\nParticipation in the annual cost budgeting process.\n\nMaintenance of VAT and fixed asset registers.\n\nAccounts receivable invoicing and related controls.\n\nReview and accounting of fees relating to services provided to and received from Head Office, ensuring accuracy, correct accounting allocation and compliance with deadlines.\n\nSupport with tax compliance and tax payments, as well as preparation of documentation required for reviews, audits and internal controls.\n\nWhat are we looking for?\nEducation\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Economics or a related field, preferably or equivalent qualifications:\nEconomics and Commerce.\n\nBusiness Administration.\n\nEconomics and Business Management.\n\nEconomics, Banking and Insurance.\n\nProfessional Experience\nApproximately 2 years of experience in general accounting, accounts payable/accounts receivable, administration or equivalent roles, preferably gained in structured companies, service organizations or international environments.\n\nHands-on experience with accounts payable processes, reconciliations, accounting closings and day-to-day interaction with suppliers and internal stakeholders is highly valued.\n\nLanguages\nItalian: native speaker or C1.\n\nEnglish: at least B2.\n\nSpanish: knowledge of Spanish is considered an advantage.\n\nTechnical Skills\nGood command of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (formulas, pivot tables and data management/analysis) and Word.\n\nKnowledge of ERP systems or accounting software is a plus.\n\nSolid knowledge of general accounting, double-entry bookkeeping and financial statement principles.\n\nFamiliarity with accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, account reconciliations and key periodic closing activities.\n\nSoft Skills / Personal Skills:\nCuriosity, motivation and a strong willingness to learn, combined with the ability to quickly grasp new activities and processes.\n\nProactivity, operational autonomy and initiative, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team and adapt to changing priorities and environments.\n\nAccuracy, reliability and a strong sense of responsibility when managing data, documents and deadlines.\n\nGood interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative approach and empathy when dealing with internal and external stakeholders.\n\nAbility to organize work, set priorities and meet deadlines even during peak workloads.\n\nPractical, solution-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.\n\nThe annual fixed salary associated with the position starts at 35.685,46€ gross per annum.\nThe salary stated above is indicative and corresponds to the annual fixed salary associated with the position.
