Responsibilities\n\n1) Learning & Development\n\nDevelop and implement staff Learning & Development programmes aligned with the organisation’s business objectives and workforce requirements.\n\nConduct training needs analysis and identify appropriate internal and external training programmes.\n\nDevelop and maintain an annual training calendar and ensure training programmes are implemented effectively.\n\nCoordinate with training providers, consultants, and relevant stakeholders to arrange training programmes.\n\nManage HRD Corp (HRDC) training grant applications for eligible training programmes.\n\nEnsure HRDC applications are submitted accurately and within the required timelines.\n\nCoordinate with training providers and HRDC on training applications, approvals, supporting documents, and related requirements.\n\nManage and monitor the organisation’s HRD Corp levy utilisation and available training allocation.\n\nPrepare and submit HRD Corp training claims, including all required supporting documentation.\n\nFollow up on pending or rejected HRDC applications and claims and resolve issues where necessary.\n\nMaintain proper records of HRDC applications, approvals, claims, invoices, attendance records, training materials, and other supporting documents.\n\nEnsure compliance with applicable HRDC requirements, guidelines, and procedures.\n\nMonitor and evaluate training effectiveness and prepare reports on training participation, costs, outcomes, and HRDC utilisation.\n\nSupport employee career development, competency development, and succession planning initiatives.\n\n2) Employee Compensation & Benefits\n\nDevelop and facilitate effective internal HR communication across the organisation.\n\nCommunicate HR policies, procedures, company announcements, benefits, training programmes, and employee initiatives.\n\nCoordinate employee engagement activities, staff events, and other HR initiatives.\n\nManage insurance policy renewals and ensure adequate employee coverage.\n\nAssist employees with insurance enquiries, claims, and related matters.\n\nOversee and coordinate payroll processing for overseas employees.\n\nMaintain and regularly update the organisation chart to reflect current organisational structure, departments, positions, reporting lines, and employees.\n\nMonitor completion of performance appraisals and follow up with departments where necessary.\n\nRequirements\n REQUIRED EXPERIENCE\n\nBachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline.\n\nMinimum 5–8 years of relevant HR experience, preferably with experience in a managerial or senior HR position.\n\nStrong experience in Learning & Development, recruitment, employee engagement, and HR operations.\n\nHands-on experience in HRD Corp (HRDC) grant applications and training claims.\n\nExperience in overseas payroll administration and working with international employees or service providers will be an advantage.\n\nKnowledge of Malaysian employment practices, HR administration, and statutory requirements.\n\nExperience in employee insurance and benefits administration is preferred.\n\nStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office or relevant HR systems.\n\nGood written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.\n\nSkills\nTraining And
