Working closely with business, technology, and vendor partners, you'll provide technical expertise across Guidewire PolicyCenter and BillingCenter, support cloud migration activities, and help establish BCAA's long-term internal Guidewire development capability.\nWho You Are\nA collaborative and solutions-focused developer with a passion for designing and delivering enterprise technology solutions.\nA technical expert who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on configuration and development.\nA strong communicator who can effectively partner with business stakeholders, architects, vendors, and technical teams.\nA proactive problem solver who thrives in complex environments and can navigate ambiguity.\nA quality-focused professional who values secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions.\nA team player who enjoys sharing knowledge and contributing to continuous improvement.\nWhat You'll Do\nAct as a key technical contributor supporting Guidewire PolicyCenter and BillingCenter on the Guidewire Cloud Platform.\nReview and validate technical designs, configurations, integrations, and cloud solutions to ensure alignment with business requirements and platform standards.\nConfigure and enhance Guidewire applications using Guidewire Studio, including PCF configuration, workflows, rules, and data model changes.\nDesign and support integrations between Guidewire and internal or external systems using APIs, messaging, and integration frameworks.\nCollaborate with architecture, security, DevOps, QA, and vendor teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.\nSupport defect triage, root cause analysis, testing activities, and production stabilization efforts.\nConduct code reviews and promote development standards, quality, performance, and maintainability best practices.\nContribute to Guidewire development standards, integration patterns, and cloud best practices.\nSupport knowledge transfer activities to help build and mature BCAA's internal Guidewire capability.\nApply secure engineering practices across integrations and application development activities.\nChampion platform stability, observability, scalability, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nStay current with Guidewire Cloud capabilities and industry best practices to support ongoing platform evolution.\nWhat You'll Bring\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\n3+ years of experience in Guidewire development, cloud implementation, integrations, or Guidewire platform support.\nActive Guidewire ACE Certification.\nStrong hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter and/or BillingCenter.\nProven experience configuring and extending Guidewire applications using Guidewire Studio.\nStrong proficiency in Gosu and Java with a solid foundation in object-oriented programming.\nExperience developing integrations using REST and/or SOAP APIs.\nKnowledge of event-driven, messaging, and batch integration approaches.\nExperience designing and documenting end-to-end technical solutions.\nStrong code review, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.\nExperience applying secure development practices and API security standards.\nFamiliarity with Agile delivery practices, sprint planning, estimation, and dependency management.\nAbility to partner effectively with QA teams to support functional, regression, integration, and performance testing activities.\nNice to Have:\nExperience with APD.\nExperience working with Guidewire Cloud Platform implementations or migrations.\nExperience with containerized deployment and runtime technologies.\nKnowledge of Property & Casualty insurance processes and systems.\nExperience supporting enterprise cloud-based insurance platforms.\nThe salary range for this position is $94,377.36 to $117,971.76and is determined via job-related knowledge, skills, experience, certifications, market demand and internal equity.
