You'll work closely with product leaders, technology teams and vendor partners to validate new functionality, strengthen automated testing practices, support production stability and contribute to successful technology releases.\nYou'll have the opportunity to work with a unique blend of web applications, mobile platforms, APIs and connected vehicle technologies, helping shape the future of mobility while continuously learning and growing your expertise.\nWho you are:\nA curious and analytical problem solver who enjoys understanding how systems work and identifying opportunities to improve quality.\n\nA strong communicator who can clearly articulate risks, defects and quality concerns to both technical and non-technical audiences.\n\nDetail-oriented and methodical, with a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences.\n\nA collaborative team player who values partnerships across technology teams, business stakeholders and external vendors.\n\nA self-starter who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys tackling new challenges.\n\nAn advocate for continuous improvement who is motivated to strengthen testing practices, automation coverage and overall product quality.\n\nWhat You’ll Do\nQuality Strategy & Leadership\nDevelop risk-based test plans and testing approaches.\n\nReview requirements and user stories to ensure appropriate coverage.\n\nAssess and communicate quality risks, release readiness and recommendations.\n\nPartner with technology teams, business stakeholders and vendors to drive quality outcomes.\n\nMentor and support junior team members.\n\nTest Execution & Automation\nExecute manual and automated testing across web, mobile, API and mobility platforms.\n\nBuild, maintain and enhance automated test suites using Tricentis Tosca.\n\nIdentify, document and manage defects through resolution.\n\nMonitor regression testing and continuously improve automation coverage and reliability.\n\nContribute to customer-focused improvements and release quality.\n\nProduction Support & Continuous Improvement\nSupport application configuration, upgrades and production releases.\n\nTroubleshoot system issues and participate in root cause analysis.\n\nHelp maintain stable, secure and reliable platforms.\n\nIdentify opportunities to improve testing processes, tools and overall quality practices.\n\nWhat you bring:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\n\nMinimum 7 years of relevant experience, including 5+ years of hands-on software quality assurance and testing experience.\n\nStrong experience testing web applications, mobile applications, APIs, system migrations and integrated technology solutions.\n\nDemonstrated expertise in manual and automated testing methodologies, including functional, regression, integration, system and exploratory testing.\n\nExperience developing and maintaining automated test suites; Tricentis Tosca experience is preferred.\n\nExperience with API testing tools such as Postman.\n\nWorking knowledge of JavaScript and software test automation practices.\n\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting and root-cause investigation skills.\n\nExperience working in Agile and DevOps environments using tools such as Jira and Confluence.\n\nBonus Skills!\nTricentis Tosca certification or formal training.\n\nExperience with SQL.\n\nExperience supporting mobility, transportation or operational technology platforms.\n\nExperience testing connected hardware and software solutions.\n\nThe salary range for this position is $100,306.20 to $125,382.84 and is determined via job-related knowledge, skills, experience, certifications, market demand and internal equity. In addition to base salary and BCAA benefits, this position is eligible for a performance bonus target of 9%, with the opportunity to earn up to 15%.\nPlease note that this is a hybrid role based out of our Burnaby, BC office (3 on-site / 2 remote days).
