With a long history of keeping roads safe and giving back in ways that build stronger communities, we offer a wide variety of meaningful, rewarding careers that move BC forward.\nWe are currently hiring a Talent Acquisition Associate based in our Head Office in Burnaby, reporting to the Manager, Talent Acquisition.\nAs a Talent Acquisition Associate, you’ll play an important role in delivering an exceptional and seamless recruitment experience across BCAA.\nWorking closely with our Talent Acquisition Specialists and Manager, you’ll coordinate and administer recruitment activities from job posting through offer, while ensuring our processes, systems and candidate communications are accurate, timely and consistent. You anticipate what’s needed, follow through and look for opportunities to make processes better.\nYou’re a strong communicator who can adapt your approach and create clear, engaging written content.\nYou’re curious about recruitment, technology and data and enjoy finding new and more efficient ways of working.\nYou’re analytical and comfortable working with recruitment data to identify trends, insights and opportunities.\nYou’re a collaborative team player who enjoys supporting others and contributing wherever needed.\nYou exercise sound judgment and discretion when working with confidential candidate and employee information.\nWhat you’ll do:\nCoordinate recruitment activities across the hiring process, ensuring a positive and efficient experience for candidates and hiring leaders.\nCreate and post job advertisements, coordinate interviews, and maintain recruitment materials, templates and interview guides.\nAdminister recruitment assessments, reference checks, offer letters, pre-employment activities and employee referral payments.\nMonitor the Talent Acquisition shared inbox and provide timely support to candidates, team members and hiring leaders.\nMaintain accurate candidate, requisition and recruitment data in Workday and other Talent Acquisition systems.\nSupport employer branding, recruitment marketing, career fairs, hiring events and other Talent Acquisition initiatives.\nPrepare and maintain recruitment reporting and analytics, identifying trends, data issues and opportunities for improvement.\nSupport Talent Acquisition projects, process improvements, technology implementations and new recruitment tools.\nIdentify opportunities to simplify, automate and improve recruitment processes, including leveraging AI and emerging technologies.\nMaintain Talent Acquisition documentation, resources and knowledge materials.\nProvide day-to-day operational and project support to the Talent Acquisition Specialists and Manager.\nWhat you bring:\nPost-secondary education in HR, business or a related field. \n2+ years in Talent Acquisition, recruitment coordination or recruitment operations, preferably within an in-house Talent Acquisition environment.\nExperience supporting multiple recruitment processes simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.\nExperience working with an applicant tracking system or HRIS; experience with Workday is an asset.\nStrong organizational and time-management skills with demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to create professional candidate communications and recruitment content.\nStrong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Copilot.\nComfort working with recruitment data, preparing reports and identifying trends or data quality issues.\nDemonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.\nBonus Skills\nExperience with Workday Recruiting.\nExperience creating employer branding, recruitment marketing or social media content.\nExperience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed or other recruitment platforms.\nExperience supporting recruitment projects, process improvements, automation or technology implementations.\nThe salary range for this position is $58,586.88 to $73,233.60 per year and is determined via job-related knowledge, skills, experience, certifications, market demand and internal equity. In addition to base salary and BCAA benefits, this position is eligible for a performance bonus target of 5%, with the opportunity to earn up to 9%.\nPlease note that this is a hybrid role based out of our Burnaby, BC office (3 on-site / 2 remote days).
