The Agile CoE is an expert product enablement function aligned organizationally to Global IT, part of BCG’s global internal Business Services Teams (BST) which operate BCG’s business.\nThe Digital Product Organization (DPO) is a 1300+ person cross-functional product delivery, tech & engineering organization. It is comprised of 16 Product Portfolios, 120+ product squads and 5 centers of excellence, responsible for driving digital product enablement for all internal BCG business functions (HR, Marketing, Legal, Risk, Finance, IT, etc.). This organization was formed in 2020 as part of a full-scale business agility transformation, sponsored by the CIO, CFO and COO and delivered by BCG’s best-in-class Agile strategy and implementation consulting team. Each Product Portfolio is led by a dedicated Product Portfolio leader with direct alignment to the senior executive of their business function. A Product Portfolio is comprised of 3 - 15 squads, each managing 1 or more products. This organization follows a consistent Agile operating model with standards and best practices designed and governed by the Agile COE.\nAs Agile Delivery Manager (Global Senior Manager) you will:\nDrive End-to-End Delivery (Primary Focus):\nOwn and drive end-to-end delivery of complex initiatives, programs, and product increments from planning to production and stabilization.\nEnsure predictable, timely, and high-quality delivery of initiatives, epics, and features aligned with business priorities and roadmaps.\nManage dependencies, risks, and constraints across squads, platforms, and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.\nOwn delivery planning, sequencing, milestones, and execution tracking across teams.\nEnsure a clear path to production, including operational readiness and post-release follow-up.\n Facilitate Agile Delivery (Supporting Focus):\nApply agile practices pragmatically to support delivery outcomes rather than acting as an Agile Coach or Scrum Master.\nWork with Product Owners and technical leads to ensure delivery plans are realistic, prioritized, and executable.\nSupport teams using agile ceremonies and artifacts to improve delivery predictability and flow.\nImprove delivery processes and tooling to reduce execution friction and enable faster, reliable releases.\nRelease Planning and Management:\nPlan and manage release execution, including readiness, cutover, and coordination with L2/L3 support teams.\nEnsure releases meet quality, risk, and compliance expectations.\nSupport post-release activities to ensure stability and business continuity.\nRisk and Issue Management:\nProactively identify delivery risks and issues that may impact timelines, scope, or quality.\nDrive mitigation plans and escalate when necessary to ensure delivery commitments are met.\nResolve execution blockers by coordinating across teams and leadership.\nMetrics, Tracking, and Reporting:\nTrack and report delivery metrics such as milestones, dependencies, predictability, lead time, and throughput.\nUse data-driven insights to identify delivery of bottlenecks and areas for execution improvement.\nProvide clear delivery status, risks, and forecasts to senior stakeholders and portfolio leadership.\nCreate dashboards and reports that give transparency into delivery progress and outcomes\nTeam and Stakeholder Enablement:\nPartner with Product Owners, Engineering Leads, and business stakeholders to align delivery with business objectives.\nManage stakeholder expectations through clear communication, transparency, and realistic planning.\nFoster collaboration across squads while maintaining delivery accountability.\nContinuous Improvement:\nIdentify opportunities to improve delivery effectiveness, execution models, and ways of working.\nSupport teams in refining processes to improve efficiency, quality, and predictability.\nApply lessons learned from delivery outcomes to improve future execution.\nWhat You'll Bring\n 8+ years of experience across a multitude of delivery management roles (e.g., Scrum Master, Agile Delivery Manager, Project/Program Manager, Release Train Engineer (RTE), Technology Delivery Lead).\n8+ years of relevant experience leading complex technology or digital delivery initiatives in large-scale environments.\nDemonstrated agile coaching capabilities combined with 2-3 years of solid project and program management experience to support effective delivery governance.\nProven track record of driving end-to-end delivery of enterprise-scale digital and technology programs, from planning through production and stabilization.\nStrong understanding of agile delivery models with the ability to apply them pragmatically to meet business objectives and execution outcomes.\nCertifications (Preferred):\nAgile Delivery Management certification.\nSAFe RTE / SAFe Scrum Master / SAFe Advanced Scrum Master certification.\n PMP certification.\nScrum certifications (PSM, CSM) considered a value add but not a primary requirement.\nSkills & Experience:\nExtensive experience delivering agile programs using industry-standard tools such as Jira, Confluence, or equivalent platforms.\nExperience working with OKRs; exposure to AI / GenAI-driven portfolios is a strong advantage.\nDeep understanding of the software delivery lifecycle, including release management, path to production, and operational readiness.\nProven ability to manage complex interdependencies, risks, and stakeholder expectations across large, matrixed organizations.\nStrong background in technology-enabled business transformation and enterprise-scale delivery execution.\nExcellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills, with the ability to influence senior levels.\nExperience working in professional services or client-facing environments preferred.\nWho You'll Work With\nProduct Owners and Engineering teams to ensure delivery execution aligns with business priorities.\nPortfolio Product Leaders, Technical Area Leads, and Chapter Leads to manage delivery dependencies and outcomes.\nOther Delivery Managers ensure consistency and best practices across initiatives.\nBoston Consulting Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
