We work in a uniquely collaborative model across the firm and throughout all levels of the client organization, generating results that allow our clients to thrive.\nWhat You'll Do\nThe BCG Federal Organization is seeking a knowledgeable and talented Data Protection Engineer that will be responsible for operating and maintaining the Data Protection architecture across multiple GCC High platforms including AWS, MS Azure and M365 in alignment with NIST 800-171, DFARS 7012, CMMC Level 2 and IT Security best practices.\nYOUR DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:\n\nEnhance and maintain the Data Classification and labeling technical strategy in alignment with business,\nclient and compliance requirements\nTranslate compliance and client contractual obligations into an operational data schema.\nCollaborate with Engineering and IT Service teams to lead effective process improvements\nCollaborate with Risk and Security teams to define restrictive labeling strategy\nRefine Data Protection processes policies to align with security needs\nPresent data analysis and recommendations to senior stakeholders\nLead data driven egress monitoring and controls evolutions\nArchitect new data controls and strategy within emerging AI architecture\nEvolve security tools and reporting with embedded AI Security tools\nCollaborate with vendor technical teams to enable progress\nUse newer technologies to automate containment, isolation and drive better user behaviors\nPerform Technical research on new challenges\nYOU'RE GOOD AT\nData Protection Technical strategy and leading teams toward implementation across multiple\nplatforms.\nInvestigating new technologies and solutions and presenting effective actionable recommendations to\nbusiness stakeholders\nComprehensive problem-solving skills to identify and solve issues quickly\nAbility to work well independently as well as part of a virtual, geographically dispersed team bringing a\nsense of urgency to the tasks at hand\nEffectively handle difficult and stressful situations with poise, tact and patience, while demonstrating a\nsense of urgency\nStrong analytical skills, detail-oriented, and quality-minded\nExceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills\nManage alert triage staff and process\nDaily driving delivery of meaningful process improvement\nWhat You'll Bring\n5-8+ years of experience in Information Security and Data Protection\n3-5+ years of Data Protection technical operational capabilities and strategies\nExperience with data handling within AI tooling and management\nBe proficient in data classification and tracking strategies.\nBe familiar with relevant industry standards and frameworks (i.e. Fedramp, NIST 800-171, CMMC, etc\nEncryption and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) experience using sensitivity labeling\nExcellent data analysis skills and presentation skills\nAbility to foresee and identify mitigation strategies for risks\nKnowledge of security issues, trends and best practices\nExperience with Microsoft Azure, M365, Purview, Defender, Zcaler within a GCC High environment\nAbility to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance (if required)\nWho You'll Work With\nYou will work in a fast-paced, intellectually challenging, product oriented environment to help build, implement, and protect a secure SaaS product environment.
