You will work across cloud-based platforms, external APIs, and diverse data sources to ensure reliable, high-quality data is available for analysis and decision-making.\nYou will take ownership of complex data engineering tasks, troubleshoot production issues, improve data models and code efficiency, and help maintain strong standards for data quality, security, testing, and documentation.\nYOU'RE GOOD AT\nDesign, build, test, and maintain scalable data pipelines and integrations.\nIntegrate data from cloud platforms, on-premises systems, and external APIs.\nManage and improve data platform processes to support reliable production delivery.\nInvestigate data issues, resolve discrepancies, and address root causes.\nMonitor pipeline performance and help ensure agreed service levels are met.\nImprove data models, code efficiency, testing, and overall data quality.\nApply strong standards for data integrity, security, and technical documentation.\nStay current with evolving data engineering tools, platforms, and approaches\nWhat You'll Bring\n4-6 years of relevant experience in data engineering.\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent practical experience.\nStrong SQL skills and working knowledge of Python for data pipelines and API integrations.\nExperience with cloud-based data warehouses such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.\nWorking knowledge of version control and CI/CD tools such as GitHub, GitHub Actions, or Terraform.\nStrong analytical problem solving, with the ability to identify root causes and resolve data issues.\nClear communication and effective collaboration across technical and non-technical teams.\nWho You'll Work With\nYou will be part of the Data Hub Squad, focused on ingesting, transforming, streamlining, and exposing high-quality data to support BCG’s Marketing function. You will work closely with the Chapter Lead, Product Owner, other data engineers, analysts, and teams across the Marketing Portfolio.\nThe role is highly collaborative, with regular interaction across technical and non-technical teams to help ensure data solutions are reliable, useful, and aligned with business needs\nAdditional info\nAt BCG, our people and relationships are at the heart of everything we do.
