Working closely with Product Management and engineering leads, you will contribute to platform capabilities - including integrations across the Atlassian ecosystem (Jira, Confluence, Automation) - that improve developer productivity and strengthen engineering quality.\nYou will apply established engineering standards to build, test, and maintain these tools, take part in architecture reviews, and help evaluate new technologies - keeping your work secure, reliable, and well-documented.\nKey Responsibilities\n\nBuild, test, and maintain internal tools and applications that support the software development lifecycle\nContribute to platform capabilities, including integrations across the Atlassian ecosystem (Jira, Confluence, Automation)\nDevelop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support reliable, efficient software delivery\nApply established engineering standards and architectural guidance when building and enhancing tools\nTroubleshoot and resolve issues across internal platforms, ensuring reliability and performance\nCollaborate with Product Management, Platform Engineering, Security, and DevSecOps teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions\nTake part in architecture reviews and provide technical input on design decisions\nEvaluate new tools and technologies, including AI-enabled features, to support continuous improvement\nDocument technical designs, processes, and configurations for internal knowledge sharing \n\nWhat You'll Bring\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (must-have); cloud/AI certifications are a plus\n4+ years of software engineering experience, including building internal platforms or tools (must-have)\nExperience building secure, scalable software solutions; exposure to AI-enabled tools is a plus\nWorking knowledge of cloud-native architecture and API-first design (Azure/AWS); familiarity with AI tooling (e.g., OpenAI, MCP) is a plus\nExperience with modern engineering/DevSecOps platforms - Atlassian (Jira, Confluence, Automation), CI/CD (preferred)\nStrong proficiency in SQL and solid database management (DBMS) fundamentals (must-have)\nFamiliarity with Snowflake is a strong plus\nWorking knowledge of Python and a front-end framework such as ReactJS is a must have\nFamiliarity with ORM frameworks such as Django is a plus\nWho You'll Work With\nYou will work as part of a multidisciplinary engineering organization focused on improving the software development lifecycle through internal tools and platform capabilities.
