Project Leaders oversee the formulation of hypotheses for research and investigation, and the advanced financial analysis of client, competitor, and industry data. They apply knowledge of business principles and industrial organization, develop actionable recommendations, and supervise work including strategic due diligence, product development studies, change management plans, and the evaluation of long-term investment opportunities. Project Leaders are also responsible for managing client contact and play a key role in the development and maintenance of high-level client relationships.\nAs the senior person most frequently at the client site, Principals interact with the client lead on a day-to-day basis to ensure that expectations are aligned. Principals provide the project management oversight required to meet client expectations. Responsibilities may include the development of presentations, managing of external relationships and consultant work progress, providing status reports, and overseeing budgets.\nWhat You'll Bring\nDemonstrated expertise aligned with one of BCG’s practice areas. A preference to have experience working with clients in the Consumer, Financial Institutions or Industrial Goods sector.\n2-3+ years consulting experience, with 1+ years at a team lead level.\nTrack record of collaboration with senior executives. Must be comfortable delivering formal presentations to management.\nStrong management and communication skills. The ability to bring together all stakeholders and persuade senior clients to take action is essential. \nStrong analytical skills and a high capacity for conceptual thinking. Ability to develop leading edge business models, frameworks for analysis, and long-term business strategies that maximize shareholder value. Must be able to thrive in a hypothesis-based environment where inductive rather than deductive reasoning is the norm.\nProven ability to manage client engagements, client relationships, and provide “thought leadership” to teams, owning the responsibility for the quality of engagements. \nA combination of management and “hands on” delivery experience is critical. \nA solid track record of building strong client relationships with large organizations, as well as identifying opportunities to deepen those relationships and grow the business. \nTechnical degree is nice to have but not required.\nA degree from a top-tier institution preferred.\nFluent in English.\nWho You'll Work With\nYou’ll collaborate with BCG team members from many backgrounds and disciplines in a team-oriented, relationship-driven environment.
