This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in brand design, digital content creation, and visual storytelling across multiple platforms. The Graphic Design Intern will report to the Graphic Design and Creative Services Manager and collaborate closely with the marketing and project management teams to support a wide range of creative initiatives that bring our brand to life.\nThings you’ll do to rock this role:\nGraphic Design & Creative Development:\nAssist in designing marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, digital ads, social media graphics, presentations and event collateral.\nSupport the development of visual content that aligns with brand guidelines and campaign goals.\nPrepare and edit images for both digital and print use.\nCollaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and execute creative concepts for campaigns and projects.\nContribute to the organization and maintenance of a digital asset library, ensuring brand consistency and accessibility.\nAssist with file preparation, proofing and project organization.\nParticipate in team meetings and creative reviews to learn and provide input on ongoing projects.\nWebsite & Digital Support:\nDesign and update website graphics, banners, and promotional imagery.\nCollaborate with web and content teams to ensure cohesive visuals across platforms.\nTeamwork\nWe have an awesome team at Burke and the right individual for this role will fit well within our culture of teamwork and open communication. Oh, and you need to have a passion for play!\nQualifications That Move Us!\nCurrently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communications, marketing, or a related field.\nProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Lightroom) or comparable design tools; familiarity with Canva or Figma is a plus.\nUnderstanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout best practices.\nCreative mindset with a strong eye for detail and consistency.\nAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\nSelf-motivated, eager to learn, and open to feedback.\nCollaborative team player who can take direction and contribute ideas.\nBasic knowledge of digital marketing concepts (e.g., social media, email design, or web graphics) is a plus.\nBurke is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
