This position plays an important role in ensuring our castings and machined components meet customer specifications through accurate measurement, 3D scanning, and dimensional analysis.\nWe're looking for someone who enjoys technical problem-solving, understands dimensional accuracy, and can turn measurement data into useful information for production, engineering, and quality teams.\nWhat You'll Do\nPerform dimensional inspections of castings, machined components, and tooling.\nOperate 3D scanning and metrology equipment to verify dimensional accuracy.\nAnalyze scan data and compare results against CAD models and engineering specifications.\nInterpret engineering drawings, tolerances, and GD&T requirements.\nPrepare clear inspection reports and communicate findings.\nWork with Engineering, Quality, and Production to identify dimensional issues and support corrective actions.\nMaintain measurement equipment and follow established inspection procedures.\nSupport first-article inspections, new product development, and process improvements.\nWhat We're Looking For\nExperience in dimensional inspection, metrology, quality inspection, or a related manufacturing field.\nFamiliarity with 3D scanning, CMM equipment, or other precision measurement technology.\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.\nUnderstanding of GD&T and dimensional tolerances.\nStrong computer skills and attention to detail.\nAbility to work independently and communicate effectively with technical and production teams.\nExperience with castings, CNC machining, CAD software, or dimensional inspection software is a plus.\nWhy BCI?\nBCI Solutions is a privately held manufacturer specializing in complex iron castings and precision machining.
