Hands-on experience with Mainframe applications.\nCreate and maintain quality code, ensure defect free programming consistent with standards; provide code maintenance and support during testing cycles and post-production deployment and participate in reviewing peer coding\nAdvanced knowledge of technology, tools, various programming languages, processes, and procedures required for mainframe development.\nA strong technology background as Mainframe COBOL developer with exceptional experience building large scale enterprise solutions.\nAnalyze business requirements and translate them into technical designs.\nWork closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and security teams, to deliver solutions.\nCreate and maintain documentation, to guide teams in implementing and maintaining systems.\nDatabase knowledge and hands on experience accessing large RDBMS.\nEnsure solutions comply with regulatory and TD security and control standards.\nDevelop technical deliverables for quality throughout detailed design and development phase, identify gaps or redesign as needed.\nTroubleshoot and optimize system performance. Conduct code reviews.\nStrong communications interacting with technology and business teams and vendor partners.\nOn call rotation will be required for this position.
