Join our growing team as a Mid-Level DevSecOps Engineer, supporting the NGA customer mission.\nResponsibilities\nWhat you get to do every day:\nCI/CD Pipelines: Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines supporting microservices and container-based deployments. \nContainerization & Orchestration: Support containerized environments using Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or OpenShift. \n Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Manage and monitor infrastructure using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. \n Cloud Infrastructure: Support secure provisioning, configuration, and monitoring of cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure). \nShift-Left Security: Integrate security tools and best practices into development workflows, including static and dynamic code analysis. \nEnvironment Hardening: Collaborate with engineering and security teams to harden environments and secure cloud-native architectures. \nTroubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve issues related to builds, deployments, and system performance. \nCompliance Support: Conduct vulnerability assessments and assist in compliance activities aligned with RMF, STIGs, or related security frameworks. \nDocumentation & Process Improvement: Document configurations and contribute to continuous improvement of DevSecOps processes and tooling. \nQualifications\nClearance Required: Active TS clearance (with SCI Eligibility) and eligibility to obtain CI Poly\nEducation/Experience:\nRequires Bachelor's degree and 4-8+ years of experience OR\nMaster's degree with 2-6 years of experience\nRequired Skills:\nCI/CD Tools: Hands-on experience with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms. \nScripting & Automation: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. \nInfrastructure as Code: Experience using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools. \nCloud Platforms: Experience working within AWS, Azure, or similar cloud environments.\nAWS CDK: Hands-on experience deploying and managing AWS infrastructure using CDK.\nContainerization: Experience with Docker.\nGitLab CI/CD: Build, maintain, and troubleshoot automated GitLab pipelines.\nIntegration: Experience integrating CDK, GitLab, Docker, and ECS for automated deployments.\nAWS ECS: Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications using ECS.\nOrchestration: Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, or similar platforms. \nSecure Engineering Practices: Working knowledge of secure coding practices, vulnerability management, and code scanning tools. \nWhat is ideal?\nKnowledge of Zero Trust Architecture principles. \nIndustry certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA, Security+, or GIAC certifications.\nIntelligence Community Experience preferred\nWhat you can expect from us\nRecognizing great achievements do not go unnoticed by bcore through service anniversaries, spot awards, and employee referral bonuses\nYou’ll join a growing organization of passionate, top-shelf, IT engineering professionals with extensive experience in actively developing the technology revolution in the Intelligence community \nThe expected salary range within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $87,100.00 - $155,000. Final compensation is unique to each individual and will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, geographic location, and contractual requirements.
