Join our growing team as a Operations DevOps Team Lead, supporting the NGA customer mission.\nResponsibilities\nWhat you get to do every day:\nWe're seeking a leader who brings strong Operations and Systems Administration expertise, team management experience, excellent communication skills, and enough development/scripting background to help automate, configure, and enhance deployments.\nLead and mentor an Operations/DevOps team supporting multi-environment system sustainment, administration, maintenance, and user support.\nPrioritize and distribute work across the team, ensuring timely issue resolution and operational excellence.\nCollaborate directly with users and government customers to understand requirements, communicate system status, and ensure mission outcomes.\nPerform system administration, troubleshooting, testing, and security operations.\nMaintain and update operational documentation including SOPs, SLAs, and system guides.\nReceive code from development teams and complete system builds, hardening, configuration, and deployment automation.\nSupport and enhance CI/CD deployment workflows and security scans.\nManage PKI certificates, system configurations, and operational compliance.\nDevelop Helm charts for OpenShift deployments and support Infrastructure as Code practices.\nDesign and monitor user and system metrics to ensure performance, reliability, and readiness across all environments.\nQualifications\nClearance Required: Active TS clearance (with SCI Eligibility) and eligibility to obtain CI Poly\nCertification Required: Minimum of IAT Level II certification (Security+ or equivalent) with IAT Level III certification preferred\nEducation/Experience:\nRequires Bachelor's degree in IT or STEM field\n7+ years leading teams in operations, sustainment, administration, security, or integration\n\n5+ years implementing DoD/IC cybersecurity requirements\n\n3+ years working with cloud technologies\n\nRequired Skills:\nExperience supporting Agile/SAFe environments\n\nStrong communication skills with the ability to engage users and government customers\n\nKnowledge of containerization, monitoring, logging, networking, and security\n\nWhat is ideal?\nExperience with geospatial system operations\n\nCISSP or CISM\n\nFamiliarity with configuration/change management processes\n\nExperience with integrated software delivery, CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, ArgoCD), and ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Jira)\n\nKnowledge of Kubernetes/OpenShift\n\nBackground in system engineering or project management\n\nExperience with Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or similar IaC tools\n\nAbility to automate tasks using Python or Bash\n\nExperience enhancing existing code and contributing to system architecture\n\nIntelligence Community Experience preferred\nWhat you can expect from us\nRecognizing great achievements do not go unnoticed by bcore through service anniversaries, spot awards, and employee referral bonuses\nYou’ll join a growing organization of passionate, top-shelf, IT engineering professionals with extensive experience in actively developing the technology revolution in the Intelligence community \nThe expected salary range within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $149,000-$180,000.
