Undergraduate or graduate degree in computer science or computer engineering. Specific skills may include the following:Required Skillsets:\n11+ years' experience in systems design and engineering\nAbility to troubleshoot cloud (AWS) implementation issues.\nSolve software (Linux) issues and software development.\nProven success working as a DEVOPs systems engineer and technical admin.\nAgile Methodology and continuous improvement mindset\nGitHub experience and other source control systems\nStrict adherence to security standards and organizational requirements\nWillingness to mentor and train other engineers as well as seek to continually improve processes.\nDesired Qualifications:\nHands-on experience working within AWS/Azure/cloud environments\nHands-on experience developing with Python\nHands-on experience developing with Ansible\nHands-on experience developing with Opentext NNMi\nHands-on experience developing with Cisco NSO\nStrong DevOps focus and experience building and deploying infrastructure with cloud\nDeployment technologies like Ansible, Chet, Puppet, etc.\nExperience with test-driven development and automated testing frameworks\nExperience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies\nCapable of delivering on multiple competing priorities with little supervision\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nWhat you can expect from us\nThe expected salary range within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: 175,000 - 195,000. Final compensation is unique to each individual and will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, geographic location, and contractual requirements.
