policies.\n·Support capacity planning and cost optimisation for AWS infrastructure supporting the JetSMART platform.\n·Own backup and disaster recovery procedures, and maintain up-to-date infrastructure runbooks.\n·Automate recurring operational tasks (deployments, environment provisioning, health checks) to reduce manual toil.\n·Participate in the on-call rotation as the primary contact for infrastructure and deployment-related incidents.\n·Contribute to release planning from an infrastructure and deployment-readiness perspective.\nRequirements\nRequired Qualifications:\n\n·Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.\n·4-5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure Engineering roles, ideally supporting live production systems under SLA.\n·Strong hands-on experience with AWS services, including API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, ECS/EKS, S3, IAM, and CloudWatch.\n·Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code, particularly Terraform, and configuration management practices.\n·Strong experience with CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline) for automated build, test, and deployment.\n·Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerised microservices environments.\n·Experience with monitoring and observability tooling (CloudWatch, Datadog, ELK, or Prometheus/Grafana).\n·Scripting proficiency (Bash, Python, or similar) for automation and tooling.\n·Solid understanding of networking, VPC design, security groups, and IAM policy management.\n·Experience supporting Node.js-based microservices/middleware environments in production.\n·Proficient with Git-based version control and release/branching strategies.\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n·AWS certification (e.g., Solutions Architect Associate, DevOps Engineer Professional).\n·Experience with message queue systems (SQS, RabbitMQ, or Kafka).\n·Prior experience in the airline, travel, or e-commerce domain.\n·Experience working within a client-facing managed services/support contract.\n·Exposure to SRE practices such as SLOs, error budgets, and incident
