Senior Full Stack Developer

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer with strong experience in both backend and frontend development, particularly with Node.js, React.js/Next.js, microservices, RESTful/GraphQL APIs, and AWS.

The role will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and secure applications, with a strong focus on API development, microservices architecture, system integration, and seamless frontend-backend integration.

The Senior Full Stack Developer will work closely with Frontend, Backend, QA, Architecture, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality solutions, troubleshoot technical issues, optimize application performance, and support production releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, secure, and maintainable full-stack applications using Node.js, React.js, and/or Next.js.
• Develop backend middleware, microservices, and APIs using Node.js and frameworks such as Express.js or Next.js.
• Design and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs to support frontend applications and external system integrations.
• Develop and maintain microservices following scalable architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
• Build responsive and efficient frontend applications using React.js and/or Next.js, ensuring seamless API consumption and integration.
• Integrate applications and middleware with external enterprise systems such as SAP using Amazon SQS and other AWS services.
• Design and configure API Gateway solutions and implement secure communication between services and external systems.
• Implement secure API authentication and authorization using mechanisms such as OAuth 2.0 and JWT.
• Collaborate closely with frontend, backend, QA, DevOps, and other cross-functional teams to ensure smooth development and delivery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, integration, and performance issues across both frontend and backend components.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and code quality.
• Develop and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure application reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to coding standards, technical documentation, and development best practices.
• Contribute to release planning, deployment activities, and production support in collaboration with the DevOps team.
• Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to application architecture, development processes, and technology stack.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development, with strong hands-on experience in Node.js and modern frontend frameworks.
• Strong experience developing applications using Node.js, React.js, and/or Next.js.
• Proven experience designing and developing RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
• Strong understanding of frontend and backend integration, API consumption, and distributed application architecture.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum and/or DevOps environments.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in Node.js and frameworks such as Express.js and/or Next.js.
• Strong frontend development experience using React.js and/or Next.js.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and asynchronous communication.
• Strong understanding of AWS services, particularly:
  • Amazon API Gateway
  • Amazon SQS
  • AWS Lambda
  • Other AWS services relevant to application development and integration
• Experience integrating applications with external/enterprise systems, such as SAP.
• Strong knowledge of API security and authentication mechanisms, including OAuth 2.0 and JWT.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha.
• Experience with Git and version control systems.
• Good understanding of database technologies and data management concepts.
• Ability to write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Experience with performance optimization and troubleshooting across both frontend and backend applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with messaging and event-driven technologies such as RabbitMQ or Apache Kafka.
• Exposure to DevOps technologies and practices, including:
  • Docker
  • Kubernetes
  • Terraform
  • CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with AWS-based cloud-native application development.
• Knowledge of event-driven and asynchronous architectures.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and application performance tools.
• Experience working with enterprise integrations and large-scale distributed systems.
• Familiarity with automated testing and test-driven development practices.
