BCX’s standards and work on less complex projects or modules of projects.\nKey Deliverables / Primary Functions\nProvide applications support by means of broad area competence, investigates problems and other requests for support and determines appropriate actions to take.\nEnsure all work is performed, documented in accordance with required standards, methods and procedures.\nParticipate in client meetings, assist in presenting issues and solutions \nUse database management tools to investigate, diagnose and resolve database problems in accordance with service level agreements, referring to database users and suppliers as and when necessary.\nExecute routine configuration/installation, reconfiguration of database and related products in alignment with BCX’s standards for software installations.\nRespond to instructions, follow agreed plans to install or remove items of software (typically those requiring greatest expertise in installation) and find the necessary items. \nParticipate in the configuration of software and equipment for systems testing of platform specific versions of one or more software products with minimum supervision.\nDesign large and/or complex programs, program modifications from supplied specifications using agreed standards & tools, to achieve a well-engineered result.\nReport on work executed and contribute significant sections of material that is of publication quality.\nInterpret and execute complex test plans using agreed methods and standards.\nDocument test failures and successes compared with pre-defined criteria, in
