It takes the imagination and passion of all of us-from design and engineering to the manufacturing and marketing of our billions of MedTech products per year-to look at the impossible and find transformative solutions that turn dreams into possibilities.\n\nJob Description\nResponsibilities:\nUses a variety of equipment such as inspection and light equipment, handcarts, to move materials, parts, assemblies and scrap products or goods within a plant, office or warehouse. \nSort and inspect materials. \nAbility to read rulers, and must have good vision. \nMust maintain quality records, have good writing skills, and maintain good documentation practices. \nDevelops skills in basic tasks, techniques and procedures within one skill area / process / method. \nApplies basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps. \nWorks within clearly defined SOPs and / or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines. \nWorks under general to limited supervision. \nMinimum Requirement:\nMust have at least one year of experience in a warehouse/manufacturing/or quality position. \nMust be one continous year on the same job as a minimum.\nHigh school diploma or equivalent. Zero (0) to one (1) year warehouse experience or related experience and/or training. \nEffective communication skills at a level co-workers and Team Lead/Supervisor can understand. \nAbility to read, write, interpret and comprehend documents written in English and perform basic math calculations. \nAbility to perform/operate in a metrics-driven environment. \nGeneral computer skills. \nPhysical Demand:\nThe physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The job can require lifting and/or moving over 50 lbs. It is hot in the summer months (no AC) and cold in the winter months (limited heating). The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.
