It takes the imagination and passion of all of us-from design and engineering to the manufacturing and marketing of our billions of MedTech products per year-to look at the impossible and find transformative solutions that turn dreams into possibilities.\n\nJob Description\nKey Responsibilities\nPlumbing support\nAssist the plumber with repair, installation, and replacement of piping, valves, fixtures, pumps, and related components.\nStage and transport tools, materials, and parts to the job site, and assist with setup and cleanup.\nSupport shutdowns, isolations, drain-downs, flushing, and restarts of plumbing and utility systems under the plumber's direction.\nAssist with routine inspections of restrooms, break areas, emergency showers and eyewashes, water heaters, backflow preventers, and floor drains.\nPreventive maintenance\nPerform assigned PM work orders on schedule, including equipment inspections, filter changes, lubrication, and belt replacements.\nSupport PM work on air handlers, pumps, fans, compressors, boilers, and chillers as assigned.\nPerform routine rounds and report leaks, unusual noise, vibration, temperature changes, and alarms.\nHousekeeping and documentation\nKeep mechanical rooms, work areas, and tool storage clean and organized.\nComplete work order close-out accurately, including labor, parts used, and findings.\nReport deficiencies, repeat failures, and safety concerns to the plumber or supervisor promptly.\nSafety and Compliance\nFollow lockout/tagout, confined space, working-at-height, and PPE requirements.\nFollow GMP and site documentation practices in an FDA-regulated manufacturing environment.\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED required\n0-3 years of maintenance, plumbing, or related trade experience (trade school or apprenticeship coursework a plus)\nBasic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in mechanical rooms, rooftops.\nAbility to read and follow procedures, checklists, and work orders\nWillingness to work scheduled shifts, with possible after-hours support in a 24/7 operation and potential holidays\nPreferred Skills\nBasic plumbing knowledge (pipe, fittings, valves)\nOSHA 10 or equivalent safety training\nWorking Conditions\nManufacturing and utility environment with exposure to noise, heat, wet areas, and heights.
