It takes the imagination and passion of all of us-from design and engineering to the manufacturing and marketing of our billions of MedTech products per year-to look at the impossible and find transformative solutions that turn dreams into possibilities.\n\nJob Description\nResponsibilities:\nSupport the regional sales team (and national sales team as needed)gaining exposure to US healthcare; specifically laboratory, nursing and physician engagement advancing ones’ BD Way of Selling and business/industry acumen.\nComplete sales training learning the IDS portfolio to effectively provide support to field associates.\nProtect and grow Specimen Management (SM) portfolio. \nProvide customers product information, data insights, clinical education and product training.\nInform customers of new and current pricing, backorder management and company policies.\nExecutes comprehensive in-service of SM products to all concerned individuals.\nWorks closely with field associates (SMC) and Regional Business Manager (RBM) on planning and prioritization of sales calls, managing time and business travel effectively.\nDevelop thorough knowledge of all related products.\nWork closely with and communicate often with both field associates and RBM, within assigned geography.\nInform field associates (SMC)and RBM of significant changes in customer accounts.\nReport customer complaints in accordance withIDS complaint policies and procedures.\nComplete all administrative duties associated with position per policy.\nCultivates new and existing customers to establish long-term mutually beneficial relationships.\nWork a flexible work schedule and travel to meet the needs of IDS customers.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree required.\n1-2 years of outside sales experience or equivalency.\nAbility to travel up to 75%.\nMust have good interpersonal and communication skills.\nWillingness to relocate for and promote to available account representative positions.\nStrong persuasion and influencing skills.\nGood judgment and professional behavior.\nBasic knowledge of Laboratory, Nursing and Medical Device industry.\nExcellent listening and communication skills.\nDemonstrated ability to effectively build and sustain professional relationships with hospital, other sales and corporate office personnel.\nMust possess and maintain a valid state-issued license driver’s license with 3 years of consecutive driving history and meet BD’s auto safety standards’.\nFor certain roles at BD, employment is contingent upon the Company’s receipt of sufficient proof that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
