You’ll help ensure products meet quality standards while keeping your work area safe, organized, and running efficiently.\nResponsibilities:\nPerform first and last article inspections and verify parts meet established quality requirements.\nMonitor injection molding equipment and auxiliary machinery for accurate operation. \nPerform visual and dimensional inspections throughout production and document results.\nIdentify, document, and properly handle rejected or nonconforming product.\nWeigh, label, and package finished product according to work order requirements.\nPrepare completed product for final release and shipment to the warehouse.\nMaintain accurate production, inspection, and quality documentation.\nKeep molding machines and surrounding work areas clean, safe, and organized.\nCommunicate production, equipment, and quality issues to the appropriate team members.\nAssist with cross-training and on-the-job training of other associates as needed.\nParticipate in continuous improvement activities, including 5S, Kaizen, and shift start-up activities.\nFollow all BD safety, quality, hazardous waste, and operating procedures.\nWork overtime as needed and perform other assigned duties.\nShift: This is a 12 hour alternating day shift (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM C Shift)\nOver a 14-day cycle, the work schedule consists of 7 days on duty. The pattern is 2 days working, 3 days resting, 2 days working, 2 days resting, 3 days working, and 2 days resting.
