It takes the imagination and passion of all of us-from design and engineering to the manufacturing and marketing of our billions of MedTech products per year-to look at the impossible and find transformative solutions that turn dreams into possibilities.\n\nJob Description\nKey Responsibilities\nProcure and manage field service equipment, including laptops, tools, calibrated test equipment, network hardware, equipment cases, and other operational assets.\nMaintain accurate asset records and inventory within equipment management systems.\nTrack calibration requirements and coordinate calibration, preventative maintenance, and recertification activities.\nTroubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs with manufacturers and service providers.\nPartner with Field Service leaders to forecast short-term and long-term equipment needs based on service demand and project forecasts.\nEnsure appropriate equipment availability to support field operations and customer commitments.\nCoordinate shipping, receiving, deployment, and return of equipment for field technicians and customer projects.\nConduct inventory audits and monitor equipment utilization.\nDevelop and maintain processes that improve equipment readiness, asset visibility, and operational efficiency.\nEnsure compliance with company quality, safety, and asset management requirements.\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree or equivalent experience.\nExperience in equipment management, inventory control, logistics, field service support, or a related operational role.\nExperience managing asset tracking systems and inventory records.\nStrong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced service environment.\nSuccess Measures\nEquipment availability and readiness\nInventory accuracy\nCalibration compliance\nOn-time equipment deployment\nRepair turnaround time\nForecasted equipment capacity to support service demand\nThis role serves as the primary point of accountability for ensuring field service personnel have the right equipment, in the right place, at the right time.\nAt BD, we prioritize on-site collaboration because we believe it fosters creativity, innovation, and effective problem-solving, which are essential in the fast-paced healthcare industry.
