This role interfaces with BDX/Bard affiliates, freight forwarders, DCs, plants, resolves discrepancies and proactively identifies improvement opportunities. Monitors, measure, and reports key performance Indicators on adherence to regulations and procedures in the conduct of export.\nResponsibilities:\nManage and execute export shipments from distribution centers on a timely manner for the assigned regions.\n\nTeam up with WW Business, Regions and Carriers to generate efficiencies and process improvements in transit duration.\n\nProactively communicates with customer and planners regarding order status, product availability, product information, credit status, and regulatory issues.\n\nCoordinates activities with supply chain, warehouses, traffic and other BD departments and locations, as needed, to ensure timely shipments of orders.\n\nEnsure export procedures/processes are utilized as designed by BD plants, 3PL’s and logistics providers.\n\nPlans, coordinates, and optimizes deliveries in SAP /TMS\n\nTroubleshoot EDI transactions\n\nResolve discrepancies, mitigate risks & implement process improvements on shipment process, transportation, monitors GLPs on time performance and daily KPI reports in SAP.\n\nProvides training to new Customer Service Representatives and Specialists.\n\nActs as a resource to other department members regarding policies and procedures, and customer, product and regulatory information.\n\nHas been cross trained on other accounts/territories to assist with workloads, and to provide coverage during vacations/absences.\n\nIs adaptable and available to accept new assignments, or assist in other areas or departments, as required.\n\nBasic Qualifications:\nStrong Team work\n\nExcellent verbal and written communications skills.\n\nAttention to detail\n\nDemonstrated ability to work independently.\n\nAdept at setting priorities, meeting deadlines and managing multiple tasks. Proficiency in standard business computer applications.\n\nProblem solving and decision-making skills\n\nGrowth and continues improvement Mind-set\n\nRequired Education and Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
