This role ensures the effective implementation of HR programs, processes, and practices that drive organizational effectiveness, compliance, and associate development. The HR Manager leads and contributes to the design and execution of HR initiatives aligned with business objectives and acts as a trusted advisor to site leadership. \nResponsibilities:\nLeads the execution of key HR processes, including Workforce Planning, Succession Planning, Performance Management, and Compensation Planning.\nCoaches leaders on performance management practices, including feedback, documentation, and development planning.\nPartners with leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, and capability assessments.\nLeads and supports change management initiatives using structured methodologies, including stakeholder analysis, communication planning, and implementation strategies.\nProvides guidance on employee relations matters, ensuring fair, consistent, and compliant resolution of issues.\nIdentifies trends, root causes, and opportunities to improve organizational health and employee engagement.\nCollaborates with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition to define role requirements and execute effective recruitment strategies.\nAdvises leaders on candidate assessment, selection processes, and hiring decisions.\nConsults on compensation decisions, including new hire offers, merit increases, and market alignment.\nPartners with leadership during compensation planning cycles to ensure alignment with performance and business goals.\nDesigns and facilitate team development and effectiveness initiatives.\nServes as a trusted advisor to leaders to support the execution of business strategies and organizational priorities.\nLeads HR-related projects and initiatives at the site or sub-regional level.\nMay serve as a process owner for key HR programs and continuous improvement initiatives.\nPartners with HR leadership on workforce reduction activities, including planning and execution of reductions-in-force, ensuring compliance and effective communication.\nOccasional travel to manufacturing sites as needed.\nRequirements:\nBachelor's degree in Business Administration, HR Management or related field.\nMinimum of 7 years of progressing Human Resources experience, with at least 4 years in a HR Business Partner or generalist role supporting manufacturing operations.\nExperience supporting a diverse client group including manufacturing clients ranging from hourly operating associates to professional business functions.\nDemonstrated experience in organizational design, change management, talent management, employee relations, workforce planning, and leadership coaching.\nStrong business acumen with the ability to translate business needs into HR solutions\nExcellent stakeholder management and influencing skills\nSolid knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance requirements\nStrong analytical and problem-solving capability; data-driven decision making\nEffective change management and project management skills\nStrong communication, facilitation, and coaching skills\nAbility to manage multiple priorities across sites and functions\n Preferred Qualifications:\nProfessional of Human Resources (PHR/SPHR) Certification Experience supporting multi-site operations and matrixed organizations strongly preferred\nExperience supporting mergers, acquisitions, integrations, restructurings, or site closures \nAt BD, we prioritize on-site collaboration because we believe it fosters creativity, innovation, and effective problem-solving, which are essential in the fast-paced healthcare industry.
