Perform quality checks, changeovers, SAP data entries, and basic troubleshooting. Ensures compliance with BD quality systems, policies, procedures and best practices, and all local, state, federal and BD safety regulations, policies and procedures. Regular, punctual attendance is an essential job function. Willing and able to uphold BD Values. Must be able to read, write, and speak English.\nDuties/Responsibilities:\nWork as one of a team for maximum effectiveness and optimal task methods, which includes product inspection, operating equipment, raw material and finished goods movements and clean room area and equipment cleaning / sanitizing\nPerform visual inspections\nPerform basic troubleshooting of equipment\nPerform changeovers, line clearance and cleaning\nAchieve production rate and quality goals on assigned equipment\nFacilitate continuous operation of the equipment through breaks\nPerform rework\nCross train where needed within the department to support the business\nMaintain all quality and GMP standards\nPerform needed SAP data entries\nMay require the use of 10x microscope, calipers, and/or other miscellaneous gauges\nParticipate on blitz teams as assigned\nAchieving established production goals\nEnsuring the quality of all product produced\nPerforming quality checks as designated\nAbility to function as part of a team\nProcessing SAP and MES transactions for department\nAssisting in the BDA process to identify root causes\nMaintain compliance with all required document training\nOperate lines in a safe and efficient manner\nDrive department results by reducing downtime and completing tasks in an efficient manner\nMaximize efficient time usage in the department\nOther duties as required to support the needs of the business\nEducation:\nHigh School diploma/GED preferred\nIn lieu of High School diploma/GED, two years manufacturing experience is required\nExperience:\nPrevious manufacturing experience preferred\nPrevious experience with MES preferred\nPrevious experience with precision measuring instruments preferred\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nWork effectively on own, or in a team atmosphere - Proficient\nAbility to maintain a neat, clean and orderly work area - Proficient\nWillingness and ability to train others - Proficient\nTeamwork - Proficient\nOrganization skills, detailed oriented - Basic\nRead, Write, and Speak English - Proficient\nPCP Level/PCP Nivel: 3\nAt BD, we prioritize on-site collaboration because we believe it fosters creativity, innovation, and effective problem-solving, which are essential in the fast-paced healthcare industry.
