In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for setting up molds and equipment, monitoring production processes, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring quality products are produced on schedule.\nResponsibilities\nSet up molds, injection molding machines, and auxiliary equipment\nMonitor production processes and make machine adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency\nPerform first article, last article, and in-process quality inspections\nTroubleshoot molding defects and support corrective actions\nComplete production paperwork and process documentation\nPerform basic preventative maintenance and minor equipment repairs\nSupport mold changes, mold maintenance, and process improvements\nCollaborate with engineering, maintenance, tooling, material handling, and production teams\nMaintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment\nParticipate in safety and continuous improvement initiatives\nRequirements\n2-5 years of molding and/or manufacturing experience\nHigh school diploma or GED\nEffective written and verbal communication skills\nBasic math and problem-solving skills\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team\nAbility to stand for extended periods during the shift\nAbility to work in a manufacturing environment while wearing required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, smock, hair covering, and safety toe shoes\nAt BD, we prioritize on-site collaboration because we believe it fosters creativity, innovation, and effective problem-solving, which are essential in the fast-paced healthcare industry.
