It takes the imagination and passion of all of us-from design and engineering to the manufacturing and marketing of our billions of MedTech products per year-to look at the impossible and find transformative solutions that turn dreams into possibilities.\n\nJob Description\nPosition Summary\nTransport, organize, supply, and sustain accurate inventory levels for components and materials supporting production execution activities.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS \nOperate hand truck or forklift to provide materials to production area. \nUse hand truck to move materials within a production area. \nPerform forklift safety checks and complete safety checklist daily.\nObserve all safety and environmental procedures and Quality System Requirements (QSR).\nComplete Kanban Milk Runs as required to keep SLBCS, FGL & PBBCS PAH lines operating with necessary materials to maintain production as directed by production planning and department leadership. \nMaintain production order integrity for all materials received, transferred and returned using SAP and Apriso.\nRemove empty containers to trash area. Put trash in trash compactor and operate compactor. \nMaintain cleanliness of work area.\nRequisition materials from warehouse as required using SAP and/or Apriso.\nCheck all materials delivered for accurate LPs, item, count and condition prior to acceptance. \nStore incoming materials accurately in Kanban by storage plan.\nPerform partial confirmations and final confirmations for finished goods. \nMove finished goods pallets into pre-sterile area or finished goods warehouse as appropriate.\nPrepares pallets by strapping and installing corner posts.\nMoves finished goods out of production area to rework area and to case pack area as required.\nVerifies good and waste quantities for each pallet reworked and completes vital transaction prior to the transfer of pallets from the manufacturing department.\nAlign with applicable V specs, SPP’s and departmental procedures.\nSupports other operations within the department.\nPerforms cycle counts and physical inventories using Apriso and SAP.\nRelieve for breaks as necessary.\nMake bar code labels using the Zebra Printer System.\nFill out component lot sheets.\nRetrieve BIs from the BI Storage refrigerator in VMS at the beginning of each batch.\nCount BIs and verify there are 26 BIs per bag and give to line stacker PAs.\nMaintain current revision production form copies for each area.\nVerify the proper amount of BIs (26) was used on each batch.\nWhen product goes on Hold or is scrapped, log product: Batch #, PO #, Reason, Quantity and destination in Hold Book located on Material Handler’s table.\nADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES\nPerforms miscellaneous duties as required by supervisor.\nMinimum Requirements:\nH.S. Diploma/G.E.D. (if hired after 6/1/00) Internal transfers exempted\nProficient in Microsoft Software (Powerpoint, Outlook, Excel, Word, Access)\n2 years of Manufacturing Experience\nMust have competent mathematical skills to calculate production order information to include quantities to assign to and take away from production orders. \nHandle and comprehend multiple tasks at all times. \nOptimally communicate and work with others. \nBe able to maneuver forklifts in tight areas safely.\nDesired Skills:\n3+ years of Manufacturing Experience\nProficient in SAP\nWork Environment:\nBD is a smoke-free campus.
