It takes the imagination and passion of all of us-from design and engineering to the manufacturing and marketing of our billions of MedTech products per year-to look at the impossible and find transformative solutions that turn dreams into possibilities.\n\nJob Description\nResponsibilities:\nWorking with current supply base to ensure on time delivery of goods/services while maintaining compliance to local, corporate, and industry regulations.\n\nLeading the materials planning for the site - including when to buy and how much to buy - in support of the plant production/build schedules of all products\n\nManage the buyer/planner(s) and warehouse team\n\nWorking with finance/operations to conduct variance analysis and cycle counts as needed.\n\nResponsible for ensuring the purchase and delivery of all materials needed for operation of the plant (MRO, facilities, supplies, etc)\n\nIdentify, analyze, and drive major supplier/procurement related cost improvement projects at the manufacturing plant level\n\nRepresent materials on the site MRB (Materials Review Board)\n\nCollaborate with cross-functionally to achieve all plant goals - including PPV and inventory targets\n\nProvide inventory procurement support to new products that are launching out of the Woburn facility\n\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to the facility, act as primary point of contact for site related issues to these suppliers\n\nLead efforts to negotiate and implement/renew Strategic Supply Agreements covering this facility where needed\n\nRepresent department in Sarbanes-Oxley, FDA, Internal, and ISO Audits\n\nSupport other critical business efforts as required\n\nQualifications, Knowledge, and Skills Required:\nBachelor’s degree in related field\n\nMBA a plus\n\n2-5 years' experience in Strategic Sourcing, Purchasing, and/or Operations\n\nExperience in Medical Device, Medical Supply, or Pharmaceutical Industry preferred\n\nMust possess leadership qualities as well as ability to influence stakeholders\n\nExperience negotiating supply agreements\n\nStrong analytical, organizational, and planning skills\n\nThe ability to work effectively and implement solutions on a strict timeline in a cross functional team environment\n\nMust demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills\n\nMust be proficient in all Microsoft Office Applications\n\nERP/MRP system experience required (JDE preferred)\n\nMust be able to travel between manufacturing facilities and supplier sites when needed (\n\nKey Relationships\nBuyer/Planner\n\nManufacturing Supervisors\n\nQuality Engineers/Manager\n\nShipper/Receivers\n\nOperations Manager\n\nFinance\n\nPlant Manager\n\nWhy Join Us?\nTo find purpose in the possibilities, we need people who can see the bigger picture, who understand the human story that underpins everything we do.
