It takes the imagination and passion of all of us-from design and engineering to the manufacturing and marketing of our billions of MedTech products per year-to look at the impossible and find transformative solutions that turn dreams into possibilities.\n\nJob Description\nJob Summary\nSupport NAMc manufacturing operations by performing required quality inspections of molded materials, managing material movement and storage, supporting product packaging, and assisting with inventory and work order processes.\nThis role is responsible for ensuring materials are available to support production and that all activities comply with BD quality systems, policies, procedures, and applicable safety requirements.\nRegular and punctual attendance is an essential job function. Candidates must be able to read, write, and understand English and be willing to uphold BD Values.\nKey Responsibilities\nPerform dimensional, functional, and visual quality inspections according to established procedures.\nIdentify and communicate non-conforming materials or defects to Quality and management.\nAccurately complete required production documentation and paperwork.\nPackage finished products and apply appropriate content labels.\nPerform line clearances before and after production runs.\nVerify labels against work order information for accuracy.\nDocument production issues, defects, statistical sampling results, and reasons for production stoppages.\nTransport in-process and finished materials using available equipment, including forklifts and tallyhos.\nPerform inventory cycle counts and assist with investigating discrepancies.\nManage the containment of rejected raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished goods.\nRetrieve, organize, and properly store raw materials at workstations.\nPerform applicable preventative maintenance duties.\nSupport cross-training and on-the-job training of other associates as needed.\nParticipate in Continuous Improvement activities, including 5S, blitzes, Shift Start-up, KAS, and Safety programs.\nMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.\nComplete raw and finished material transactions with accurate documentation to support logistics, quality, production, and finance systems.\nFollow production reporting requirements using MES.\nPerform other duties as needed to support the business.\nEducation & Experience\nRequired:\nHigh School Diploma or GED\nIn lieu of a High School Diploma/GED:\n2 years of manufacturing experience\nKnowledge & Skills\nBasic Microsoft Office/computer skills\nStrong organizational skills\nWritten and verbal communication skills\nBasic math skills\nAbility to maintain accurate documentation\nAbility to work effectively in a manufacturing environment\nWhy Join Us?\nTo find purpose in the possibilities, we need people who can see the bigger picture, who understand the human story that underpins everything we do.
