This role supports manufacturing operations through equipment monitoring, troubleshooting, mold maintenance, quality documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nKey Responsibilities\nOperate molding machines and auxiliary equipment safely and efficiently.\nMonitor equipment performance and make adjustments as needed.\nPerform basic troubleshooting and corrective actions on molding processes and tooling.\nMaintain molds, hot runner systems, and related components.\nComplete preventative maintenance and minor equipment repairs.\nAccurately document production, downtime, material usage, and quality data.\nUtilize manufacturing systems and computer software for data entry and recordkeeping.\nReceive, store, pack, and move raw materials and finished goods.\nSupport quality initiatives and collaborate with Quality Control personnel.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.\nParticipate in continuous improvement activities.\nAssist with training new employees as directed.\nQualifications\nEducation & Experience\nHigh School Diploma or GED required.\n2-3 years of plastics manufacturing experience preferred.\nBasic understanding of molding processes and principles.\nSkills\nAbility to read micrometers and other measuring devices.\nBasic knowledge of inspection tools and quality procedures.\nStrong communication and teamwork skills.\nAbility to follow written instructions.\nBasic computer proficiency.\nGood math skills.\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to stand for extended periods.\nFrequent bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling.\nAbility to work in varying temperature conditions.\nWork Environment\nRegular exposure to manufacturing conditions, including:\nNoise and vibration\nHeat and cold\nChemicals, oils, lubricants, and greases\nElectrical equipment and machinery\nIdeal Candidate: A dependable, safety-focused manufacturing professional with molding experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.\nWhy Join Us?\nTo find purpose in the possibilities, we need people who can see the bigger picture, who understand the human story that underpins everything we do.
