It takes the imagination and passion of all of us-from design and engineering to the manufacturing and marketing of our billions of MedTech products per year-to look at the impossible and find transformative solutions that turn dreams into possibilities.\n\nJob Description\nEssential Functions:\nThe essential functions of this position include but are not limited to:\nMaintains a clean work area and reports any safety hazards to the supervisor.\nParticipates in safety programs and initiatives throughout the plant.\nKnows and observes all quality and GP standards.\nWorks efficiently and cooperates with supervision and other associates.\nSets up, debugs, adjusts, and operates equipment within specified ranges.\nPerforms change overs on equipment.\nPerforms quality inspections according to operational specifications for all operations performed.\nPossesses working knowledge of current production reporting system and how it applies to all positions.\nPerforms preventative maintenance on equipment as assigned including semi-annual extended maintenance.\nMaintains and handles inventory as necessary.\nActively participates in continuous improvement activities.\nPerforms other job-related duties as assigned.\nComplies with all local, state, federal, and BD safety and environmental regulations, standards, and policies/procedures.\nComplies with all local BD quality policies/procedures/practices through consistent application of sound quality assurance principles.\nMinimum qualifications:\nMust be at least 18 years of age.\nAbility to read, write, speak, and understand English.\nHigh school diploma or GED\nPreferred qualifications:\n1 year of manufacturing experience.\nPhysical requirements:\nMedium work - exerting 20 to 50 pounds occasionally, or 10 to 25 pounds frequently, or up to 10 pounds constantly.\nWorking conditions:\nWorker is subject to inside environmental conditions.\nWorker is subject to noise exposure, mechanical hazards, high heat, chemicals, and other industrial hazards associated with manufacturing.\nWhy Join Us?\nTo find purpose in the possibilities, we need people who can see the bigger picture, who understand the human story that underpins everything we do.
