This role involves operating packaging equipment, performing in-process checks, and documenting activities accurately.\nJob Responsibilities\nOperate and monitor various packaging machinery and equipment, including but not limited to fillers, cappers, labelers, and cartoners.\nPerform equipment setup, changeovers, and minor troubleshooting according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).\nConduct in-process quality checks, including visual inspections, label verification, and component counts, and record results accurately.\nDocument all production activities, including batch records, logbooks, and equipment usage, in a clear and timely manner.\nAdhere strictly to cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines, safety procedures, and company policies.\nMaintain a clean and organized work area, performing routine cleaning and sanitation of equipment and the packaging suite.\nIdentify and report any deviations, quality issues, or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor promptly.\nParticipate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge of packaging processes and equipment.\nAssist with material handling, including loading and unloading components and finished goods.\nJob Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED required.\nMinimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.\nProven ability to operate and troubleshoot packaging machinery.\nStrong understanding of cGMP regulations and quality control principles.\nExcellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.\nAbility to read, write, and comprehend instructions in English.\nBasic mathematical skills for calculations and data recording.\nGood communication and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.\nProficiency in using basic computer applications is a plus.\nThis position is for the B shift Assembly which is one week Monday - Wednesday and the next week is Monday - Thursday. \nAlternates every other week. 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next.
