It takes the imagination and passion of all of us-from design and engineering to the manufacturing and marketing of our billions of MedTech products per year-to look at the impossible and find transformative solutions that turn dreams into possibilities.\n\nJob Description\nBD Interventional (BDI) focus on leading innovation and life-enhancing devices in the field of surgical, endovascular, urological and critical care interventions aiming at advancing the treatment of high burden diseases and enabling surgical and interventional procedures.\nPeripheral Intervention\nOur Peripheral Intervention (PI) business unit offers a comprehensive range of medical products, devices and services for the treatment of peripheral arterial and venous disease, cancer detection, and end-stage renal disease and maintenance.\nTo represent BDPI in a specific geographical area assigned by the company and take necessary action to attain sales objectives.\nEssential / Key Job Responsibilities (including supervisory and/or fiscal):\nSells the entire product line to current and new accounts.\nInforms customers of new and current pricing, backorders, and company policies.\nExecutes comprehensive in-service of products to all concerned individuals.\nPlans sales calls on a continuous basis, managing sales time effectively.\nDevelops thorough knowledge of all products and clinical data.\nInforms Regional Manager of significant market changes and competitive activity.\nAchieves prompt, mutually satisfactory solutions to customer complaints.\nAnalyzes customer needs and creates solutions.\nMaintains company automobile and company property.\nCompletes and processes BDPI reports including but not limited to: sales summary reports, expense reports, monthly product tracking reports, account, targeting reports, and complaint reports in accordance with established policies and procedures.\nRequired Qualifications:\nProduct knowledge and all features and benefits of BDPI products Surgical procedure knowledge, adequate to illustrate our product benefits.\nBasic anatomy.\nMedical and surgical terminology.\nThrough understanding of needs/analysis selling.\nExcellent listening and communication skills.\nUnderstands contract administration\nEducation and/or Experience:\nBachelor's Degree or 4 years of outside sales experience required.
