This role helps enable project teams with effective processes, tools, and data while translating project execution into meaningful portfolio insights for business and enterprise leadership. The Portfolio Analyst provides portfolio analytics, data management, reporting, and technology enablement and partners across functions and with corporate teams to ensure alignment with broader enterprise initiatives.\nKey Responsibilities:\nEnable project teams through effective PMO processes, tools, reporting, and project/portfolio management practices.\nMaintain accurate, reliable portfolio data and drive effective utilization of OnePlan and other PMO systems.\nTranslate project execution data into portfolio and business-level visibility, including schedules, capacity, financials, risks, milestones, and project health.\nPartner with Finance to incorporate financial forecasts and outputs into portfolio analysis and reporting.\nDevelop and maintain Power BI dashboards, portfolio metrics, and leadership reporting to enable timely, data-driven decisions.\nSupport portfolio governance, planning, visual management, and project management processes.\nPartner across functions and with corporate/enterprise teams to align BU tools, data, processes, and reporting with broader initiatives.\nIdentify, assess, and implement AI, automation, and digital solutions that improve project execution, PMO efficiency, data quality, and business visibility.\nContinuously improve processes and reduce non-value-added administrative work for Project Managers and teams.\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree \n5+ years of relevant experience in portfolio analysis, PMO, project management, analytics, or related work.\nExperience with project and portfolio management practices and tools\nStrong analytical, data management, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.\nStrong Excel skills \nDemonstrated ability to evaluate and apply new technology, including AI and automation, to improve business processes.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience in medical device, life sciences, R&D, or another regulated product-development environment \nMicrosoft Project and PMP certification \nExperience with OnePlan, Power BI, Microsoft 365, Power Automate, Copilot/AI, or similar tools \nAt BD, we prioritize on-site collaboration because we believe it fosters creativity, innovation, and effective problem-solving, which are essential in the fast-paced healthcare industry.
