It takes the imagination and passion of all of us-from design and engineering to the manufacturing and marketing of our billions of MedTech products per year-to look at the impossible and find transformative solutions that turn dreams into possibilities.\n\nJob Description\n2nd Shift: 2:00 pm - 10:30 PM\nJob Responsibilities:\nQuality Control & In-Process Activities\nPerform in-process inspection and sampling activities in accordance with approved procedures, specifications, and sampling plans to ensure product quality and compliance.\nEnsure proper handling and traceability of samples throughout the inspection and testing process.\nCompliance & Documentation\nEnsure strict adherence to Good Documentation Practices (GDP) by maintaining accurate, complete, legible, and contemporaneous records in all quality-related documentation.\nComply and ensure adherence with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), company policies, and all applicable regulatory requirements.\nExecute all activities in alignment with approved SOPs, Work Instructions, and quality standards.\nDeviation Management & Escalation\nIdentify, document, and escalate non-conformances, abnormal conditions, or deviations in a timely manner using the appropriate quality systems (NCRs(QN’s)).\nEscalate any condition that does not meet requirements immediately or within defined timelines, ensuring product quality and compliance are not compromised.\nProvide real-time feedback to operations to support containment and corrective actions.\nSupport to Quality Systems\nSupport investigations by providing accurate data, traceability, and objective evidence related to inspections and sampling.\nMaintain quality records.\nSupport internal/external audits, and audit readiness activities.\nSafety & Compliance\nDemonstrate compliance with safety programs and contribute to achieving site safety goals.\nMaintain required training and certifications, including GMP and safety training.\nAdhere to all company policies and procedures.\nPerform other duties as assigned to support business needs.\nEducation and Experience:\nMinimum High School / GED or equivalent.\nPrevious Manufacturing experience, preferred.\nKnowledge and Skills:\nKnowledge of cGMP requirements and regulatory standards.\nUnderstanding of SOPs, Work Instructions, and quality systems.\nExperience with measurement and inspection equipment.\nStrong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.\nAbility to identify and escalate quality issues effectively.\nPhysical Demands:\nRequired to stand for extended periods of time.\nWork Environment:\nManufacturing\nAt BD, we prioritize on-site collaboration because we believe it fosters creativity, innovation, and effective problem-solving, which are essential in the fast-paced healthcare industry.
