You support products from requirements definition through verification, analyze measurement data, and derive well-founded recommendations for action.\nYou work closely with R&D, Quality, and other interfaces, develop test strategies and automated test procedures. The results are documented in a transparent and traceable manner and serve as a basis for technical decisions and continuous product improvement.\nResponsibilities:\nThe Hardware Tester / Test Engineer will be responsible for the execution of hardware and system tests in accordance with test plans \nPlanning, setup, and commissioning of experimental and test benches \nProgramming and maintenance of measurement and test systems (e.g., LabVIEW) \nRecording, analysis, and evaluation of measurement data (e.g., using DIAdem) \nDocumentation of test results in English \nContribution to requirements definition as well as implementation of technical requirements \nCreation and maintenance of technical documentation (GDP) \nStays up to date with emerging technology and methodologies and will recommend and process/design improvements related to improving the development velocity, and quality output of the R&D hardware teams. \nBuild and maintain strong working relationships with project managers, engineers (systems, electrical, mechanical), operations and maintenance teams, and external engineers/vendors. \nQualifications:\nDiploma or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field; experience in mechatronics is desirable \nDemonstrates outstanding hardware verification testing expertise and strong technical skills \nSeveral years of experience in hardware testing, testing/validation or test bench engineering \nExperience in measurement technology, sensor systems, and test automation \nVery good knowledge of: \nLabVIEW (data acquisition, test sequence control) \nDIAdem (data analysis, evaluation) \nAnalytical and structured working methodology; self-motivated, organized, with a fact-based and “go-and-see” mentality and a strong drive to understand \nFamiliarity with test data analysis and evaluation \nStrong technical understanding of mechanical and electromechanical systems \nFamiliarity with version control systems such as SVN/GIT as well as GitHub \nExperience in System and Reliability Engineering \nStrong documentation skills (GDP) and practical experience in developing models and graphical representations/abstractions of systems and processes \nExperience in common Quality Methods (Design Review, DFMEA, Design for Six Sigma, etc.) \nStakeholder management and networking skills are desirable \nTeam player with strong communication skills and initiative \nExcellent MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) \nGood German and English skills required \nWould be desirable\nExperience in building automated test systems (e.g., cDAQ, DAQ systems) \nKnowledge of Python or other scripting languages \nExperience with test management tools (Jira, optionally TestRail) \nExperience with endurance or lifetime testing \nExperience with drive systems (BLDC motors, control engineering) \nWhy Join Us?\nTo find purpose in the possibilities, we need people who can see the bigger picture, who understand the human story that underpins everything we do.
