Including but not limited, customer scope requirements, work breakdown structures, risk management, integrated business plans, and product requirements.\n\nDelivers projects on-time through predictable and transparent execution.\n\nServing as an agile problem solver, master negotiator, motivational coach, product development process expert, prudent risk taker, and team champion.\n\nInfluences solutions and works to resolve business and/or technical problems at all levels of the organization.\n\nA strong, influential communicator who implements the strategic and technical direction for the project/program team.\n\nFinds and creates new avenues of excellence. Self-starting and will take action without prompting or direction from others to solve problems.\n\nDemonstrates a working knowledge of business, market growth drivers and trends, influences business case development.\n\nLeads cross functional teams through project(s) of medium scale and moderate complexity by leading cross functional teams individually or with an additional project leader.\n\nHas a thorough understanding of all functional work streams in a phase gate process and a vision of an integrated project plan.\n\nPosition requirements:\nBS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a closely related engineering degree is required. At least 10 years relevant experience in product development and design, with at least 3-5 years product development and design experience in medical devices/products (Class II).\n\nMinimum of 5 years project management experience.\n\nExperience driving remediation and/or sustaining engineering projects\n\nPosition Preferences:\nAn advanced degree in an engineering discipline or MBA is preferred\n\nProject Management Professional (PMP) Certified\n\nFamiliarity of Advanced access devices\n\nCritical Skills and Competencies:\nSuccessful track record of commercializing new products and/or remediating critical products in the market\n\nExperience in product development planning multiple work-streams, identifying risk and implementing action plans to optimize timelines and reduce execution risk\n\nFamiliarity withmedical device regulations and FDA submissions\n\nAt BD, we prioritize on-site collaboration because we believe it fosters creativity, innovation, and effective problem-solving, which are essential in the fast-paced healthcare industry.
